I dont know why but it seems that all Churches chicken is only placed in the hood? It is a very hot atmosphere no A/C I order my... food and there is a gentleman that comes in and starts a fight with an elderly gentleman. Then there is another guy that comesin and was begging the customers for food the owner was having a meeting with three of his associates/ partners and they gavethe man their food. He goes outside eats the food then comes back in and says that now he needed something to drink as if it wasour responsibility to buy him a drink? There was a 40 min wait on our food due to the fact the previous shift did not drop anychicken for the next shift then they had to send an employee to the corner store to buy ice because their ice machine was brokeI will never eat at another Churches chicken ever again the experience alone is worth me never coming back NEGATIVE 20 STARS????! Never had any issue with the food and the cashier who rang me up and gave me my order was super kind and generous. Can't go... wrong with a Hot Fresh Honey Butter Biscuit!! I have been a fan and loyal customer of Churches for over 20 years and never have I been so disappointed as I was today. I... placed and paid for an order, (10 piece mixed with mashed potatoes and slaw and when I got home and my family was getting readyto eat we only had legs and thighs.I call back 3times no answer so I went back with the uneaten food to show them.They we?rehaving problems with other customers so I ask them to just give me the white meat to go with my order,they agreed but said Iwould have to wait for 20 minutes and I said ok because this was our dinner for tonight. When it finally came I said thanks gotan order of okra and left. Upon opening the boxer saw that the chicken was not only burnt but was still wrong(1breast,1thigh,2wings and a leg). I don?t know what the problem is but it needs to be fixed plus there roaches crawling around onthe floor. I got sick from the slaw that was old so I would like to be compensated for my pain and mistreatment. Read more
This was some of the best fried chicken that I've had in all of North Carolina in the last three years that I've been down here.... The portions were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Juicy and steaming. Fresh out of the fryer as I watch the girls in the backpreparing more from scratch to put in next load for the fryer. I can't wait to try the fish. The corn was cooked perfectly andthe biscuits are absolutely out of this world. I had to compliment the manager before I left! Read more
Great chicken. But they let people inside who ask you for food while your ordering. Not cool. Wish there were more franchise's.
