They have classic Carolina Que down! The menu is simple and they do everything exceptionally well. That Banana pudding with that... cinnamon was ridiculously good. Don't let the fact it's in a gas station fool you. It's well kept and they care about thequality of food they make. Read more

Hm. This is a tough one. The meat is really good, the fries are mediocre, the pudding was sublime (!), the portion size was OK,... and the price was a bit high for what you get, in my opinion. Add it all up, and I think 4 stars is about right. Good spot forBBQ, if I lived or worked nearby I'd probably visit now and again, but not worth driving in for from any real distance. Read more

Based on previous reviews it seems like things have changed. The most mediocre-bad BBQ experience I've had from a actual BBQ... place. The pork itself was aight, but the slaw was bland and somehow dry. No substance to it at all, no bite or sweetness oranything. Just mildly wet diced cabbage. The Mac n Cheese was barely even Kraft level, and I hate Kraft with a passion. Nocreaminess. No sauce even. Just a thin, thin coating of something that vaguely tasted like the most processed cheese I can thinkof. Read more

This place is so awesome. Really good food, great prices, big portions, and the most friendly owners and employees. The owner... even gave us free banana pudding for our first visit and it was incredible. Could not recommend this place enough! Read more

Good eating! I stopped at Costco to get gas on my lunch break and just did a search for food near me and this place popped up. ... The food was good and what really impressed me was the service. The guys were super nice and very attentive. They got my orderand me back on the road quickly. The "cowboy beans" and the broccoli salad are phenomenal! ???????? Read more

Get ready for a nap! OMG, you get so much food for the right price. The first things I was impressed with was the pricing! For... just $12 you can get one meat, hush puppies, coleslaw, and two sides like banana pudding and Mac N Cheese. WOW! Now the locationis not ideal if you are expecting a restaurant style experience, but hey this is BBQ it's meant to be eaten outside. So, on withmy experience. The place is easy to find. once I went into the gas station store you can sell the BBQ. I walked right up to thecounter which is on the back left side of the store and the young man at the register was ready to take my order. The rusticstyle of this kitchen made it easy to read the menu. I basically saw two prices $10 for one meat with one side, whoch still getsyou hush puppies and coleslaw, or $12 for two sides and both options comes with a drink! That's an amazing deal. The young guyat the counter warned me that I was going to need a nap after this meal and he was right. I ordered the pulled pork with mac andcheese, banana pudding, coleslaw and hush puppies. The hush puppies fried just right, they have a crispy outside and a softfluffy inside. The hush puppies also go great with the hush puppy sauce which taste like honey mustard. The mac and cheese wassuper cheesy and creamy and for me were just perfect. Nothing worse than rubbery stringy mac and cheese, the noodles were cookedto perfection. The coleslaw was okay, I'm not a fan of shredded coleslaw, I like more of a tradition style with pieces ofcarrots and strips of cabbage in the slaw. But that's a texture thing for me. The flavor was there just not the texture, butthen again you may like that. The pulled pork was juicy and tender. You can tell it was made right because it was tender, youcan taste all the flavors of the seasonings and it shows when you first look at it. The pork wasn't dry and my only complaint isthat I didn't ask for any slices of bread to make a sandwich out of it. Also I should have aske Read more
