My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner here over Labor Day weekend, and it was perfect! Darcey was so friendly and easy to... work with, responding very timely to emails and phone calls. All the food was amazing (we went with the Ravioli and the whitecream pasta dish as our pasta choices, the latter being a huge hit); people said it was probably one of the best rehearsaldinners they have had! It was so easy to just have an open bar of wine and beer. The staff was very attentive, and spaced outthe courses perfectly. Both dessert options were delicious. We had a couple people who had to eat gluten free, and the staff wasable to use high-quality GF pasta for those people. We had 37 people in our group which felt like the right amount of people; ifwe had the max amount of people allowed (50), it probably would've felt too crowded and too loud. The room/decor felt veryclassic and elegant without feeling stuffy. We invited our guests to the speakeasy (Watts & Ward) below the restaurant, whichwas a huge hit with our guests! Overall, I would 100% recommend this establishment for anyone looking to host a rehearsal dinneror a large party. My husband, my in-laws, and I could not imagine picking anywhere else! Read more

Definitely an amazing spot for a romantic date, dinner with friends or even a business meeting. The staff areincredible and always willing to help you with a wine choice or recommend a favorite meal. Went here for restaurant week and was immensely disappointed in the food. The rigatoni was overdone and the sauce lacked any... flavor. The chicken Lombardi was overdone as well. The potatoes were overcooked, dry, and lacked seasoning. The asparagus hadtoo much seasoning and was undercooked. Wine was fine and the waitress was very friendly. Vibe was alright. Could be a flukewith it being restaurant week but, still disappointed overall. Read more

My husband and I got married at Caffe Luna back in May and boy did it exceed our expectations! It was the complete fairytale day... and it wouldn?t have been that way if it weren?t for the exceptional staff and beautiful restaurant and location! From thebeginning of the planning process to the execution of the day, Darcy went above and beyond to make the day so special andperfect. I am still (nearly 6months later) getting comments on how wonderful the service and food was at the wedding. My familyand I are so incredibly happy we found Caffe Luna! Thank you all for working so hard and for being so accommodating for such alarge group! Read more

This was our first time here as we celebrated a dear friend?s milestone birthday. Nestled in the heart of Downtown Raleigh,... Caffe Luna is a mix of old world charm with the contemporary. Parties of two?s and four?s filled the restaurant enjoying goodfood, good drink, and good company. The wine list was impressive as was the bountiful bread with olive oil and pepper. Theentrees were a feast for the eyes and stomach. My spicy shrimp linguine was perfectly seasoned, the pasta perfectly al dente, and the shrimp perfectly succulent. Finally the dessert. I?m usually not a dessert man but I don?t say no to tiramisu. It wasperfect as was the evening dining, celebrating, and reminiscing with good friends. Read more

Visited here as part of a wedding rehearsal dinner. The restaurant staff did a wonderful job of handling our meal considering... there 45-50 people in attendance. The decor is nice, stylish but not stuffy. The food was of course from the catering side butI would expect similar dishes appear on the regular menu. Food was all good. Pictures show a couple of antipasto selections, then the Cesar salad and finally, orecchiette with broccoli and sausage. Not pictured but also good was the cheesecake. Whenwe return to the area, definitely would return. Read more
