Slow service everytime when I go now. Omar definitely needs some help watching him try to keep up is hard to say the least. Food was good, but a little expensive for what it is. I was okay with that due to the idea of being more authentic, but they... charge for an extra scoop of salsa (what would have been my second) and this penny pinching isn't right for an authentic Latinexperience. I'm Spanish and from California, with roots back to New Mexico, and my family would never charge for something likethat. The prices, particularly for dinner are a little pricey. The service was just so-so. I had to ask for a refill of soda(one refill) and the server seemed generally miffed at something, not sure what. Atmosphere is nice and if you're going for thatyou may enjoy it. I likely won't be back. I did a take-out order of a California burrito which came with a side of soup (I chose tortilla soup) everything was delicious!... Portion size was very generous, in fact I could only eat half the burrito and the soup and ended up having the second burritohalf for my dinner the next day. I went there with friends and they did a good job on my order but one of my friends got the wrong meal made and asked for the... right one very politely once they delivered it and they made the right order the second time but when they delivered the checksto us, they charged my friend for the wrong meal as well as the right one. Very sore night due to thunder storms rolling through. Went to new brewery next door and did take out like many others. ... Service was poor since there was no one in the restaurant, only take out. We still usually tip good even when we take out andthe restaurant needs to figure this out which could benefit them. They would have had no business if it was not for AlteredState that night. Great value for the money! Had a party catered for 30 adults and 20 kids. These chicken enchiladas were SO full of flavor. Shown... here one of the three sheetpans we received: plenty, and maybe even a little too much for our guests to eat it all! The beans,rice, guacamole, queso, chips and salsa were on the side and serving utensils too. Just a great experience all around, highlyrecommend. Read more

Have always had pretty good experiences here. The tortilla soup is the best I?ve had anywhere. Other good ones are the... plate-size quesadillas. Their smashed beans are great and the chips and salsa tasty too. The space isn?t much to write homeabout- but you?re there for the food. Service is hit or miss, but otherwise pretty reliable.
