Time and time again this place comes through for me! After a long week I came home with a very specific request for... dinner-Pappardelle pasta. I didn?t feel like going across town where I knew I could get it, so opted for our local favoriterestaurant. I asked them if they ever had it on the menu and they do not. Food was excellent. Service was the worst I?ve ever experienced in any restaurant considering It was my Birthday night dinner.... If you go, make sure you don?t have Giuseppe ?Joe? as your server. We were treated as a transaction with no hospitality. Weeven gave him an opportunity to engage by telling him it was my birthday and it was our very first time there. Nothing. We hadto ask him recommended dishes. And no birthday wish. No introduction, we asked for his name and didn?t offer desserts. This is one of the first reviews I?ve ever left anywhere. The wait staff is very rude, they fussed at the hostess because of... where we got seated. One of the waiters; a white headed gentleman was staring at me nearly the entire time?every visit to thepoint of sale kiosk? if I could see him out of the corner of my eye he was staring. The other members in my group noticed andtold me. He also made complaints to the wait staff for seating 2 of us based on the fact that we had beards. The food; I got aCaesar salad that had cardboard croutons?chewy? the dressing tasted like mayonnaise?like store bought miracle whip? the lettucewas chewy and Hot I also got the fettuccine Alfredo and it was alright nothing special about it. I spoke with who I believe tobe Nino according to the server name on the check he claimed to me the Manager. Throughout the whole meal while being stared atcontinuously they never once offered to refill our drinks and once a complaint was voiced to Nino he made no attempt toapologize. This is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to, and I was in the restaurant business myself for 25 years. Oysters... Rockefeller was TOP NOTCH! Same for the Lamb Chops! Highly, HIGHLY recommend this place. I consider it a hidden gem! Read more
I go at least once a month solo to treat myself to Rockefeller Oysters and French Martini. My private waiter who knows me well... now is Nino. I feel special and ???? when dining here. The drink and food is always good. The chef even greeted me one time. Ilike the atmosphere and the service. Highly recommend checking it out. Read more
Anticipation of a 39th anniversary dinner and veterans day! To our surprise, when we arrived our table was not ready?sat... down?no silverware?.no napkins, no menus?.no acknowledgement of our table. Finally water, then ordered drinks then the menu. Myhusbands meal was fabulous (rack of lamb)., my lobster ravioli was ordinary.
