It's everything you'd expect at a Barnes & Noble, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The woman at the register chatted... with me about the books I was buying, which I think adds some credibility. Can't find any books that I was looking for, waited at the Customer service desk for help for long enough without anybody coming... to help, finally was told to look for the books I wanted in a section that the author didn't belong in, and even then he wasn'tthere. I visited this location today and absolutely enjoyed it. Most people prefer when the staff interact with the shopper more, but I... actually appreciate that the staff allow a little more peace and quiet. Everyone is courteous, however, if you do need help. Amazing customer service! I bought 2 board games for my son that he had saved up for. We were looking for two specific ones so... we took our time and bought them online. Suddenly around midnight our order was mysteriously cancelled. We were leaving for ourtrip the next day and wanted to bring them to play. I called and 2 employees named Nicole and Heather helped me find them instore and buy them and we were able to pick them up the next day! Thank you so much! You two deserve a raise! Read more
Wonderful atmosphere. So many items to purchase! Sat down to enjoy some coffee while I enjoyed looking through my purchases.
This Barnes &Noble felt a little dirty compared to the one in our town but the people were super nice. For a weekend, I?m used... to more foot traffic but I was glad it wasn?t packed. We had to meet a party at Crabtree so ended up at the book store just fora place to hang out for a bit. I noticed they were missing the trains in the children?s area just as the one in our hometown. Iguess COVID stopped all the train playing. It?s sad to see it gone. I did get a chai. I sat in the cafe for a little while justpeople watching. I could hear a lady getting trained on how to run the cafe properly and how to follow standards. One coupleseemed to be on their first ?date?. I love listening to people and watching. Read more
Good selection of books, but in a very busy area, especially right next to the mall. This store remodeled recently, so it can be... tricky to find books now if you?re used to the previous layout. A couple problems I?ve encountered after these years- RecentlyI?ve been looking for a particular philosophy book, and the bookseller searched their system to find they did have 1 in stock.The book was nowhere to be found; I asked about 2 weeks later and still not in the right area. I also had an unpleasant customerservice experience where the cashier did not even greet me and did not offer me a bag for my purchase. I will continue to shophere because it?s the closest location to me. Read more
There aren't too many bookstores around these days, it is worth paying a little more to keep them around as a public place to go... and simply peruse things you may not otherwise read. There is an internal Starbucks at this location and it is centrallylocated within the store to create a unique atmosphere. The shopping center itself looks a little older, but the store is veryclean and well kept. Read more
