Nice little family owned place with Venezuelan menu. Totally GF facility, which is a hit with the wife. Food was... good?different, but good. A little on the spendy side: 4 lunches with tip was $62?but, it was a good, prepared meal (not out ofa package). I?d go back with my wife?she really liked it. Read more

extra yummy! an arepa is like a tiny triple-thick tortilla, grilled, served like a taco. salmon was thin sliced, salty (like... lox is salty) and stuffed with lettuce, some sort of farmer cheese slice, and a great white sauce. i added some cilantro sauceand a hot sauce (to alternate bites ? it?s how i roll). enough for a snack, or light lunch. you?ll want 2-3 for dinner. abit pricey ($7 for 1, in 2022) but def worth it! also, an assortment of desserts like flan and a pudding/custard. didn?t try, Read more

My friend and I really enjoyed our dinner here. We both got arepas and they were delicious. The staff were very friendly and... explained all about their cuisine and gave suggestions for what to order. They are also entirely gluten free which is super nicefor certain people. Read more

I came here because I received a discount through Offline Raleigh and I loved it! The arepas are really unique- they taste... really fresh and they don't feel too heavy or hard on the stomach. Yet one arepa with a side was plenty for dinner. We got theLa Tica and the El Salmon. I loved both; the La Tica is great if you want something a bit more traditional and with chicken, andthe El Salmon was very green and fresh, and the smoked salmon had a great flavor. The El Salmon had to be my favorite betweenthe two, it was like the arepa version of a bagel and lox! We also got the plantains with cheese and the rice and beans forsides. Loved loved the plantains! The rice and beans were alright, although the rice felt a little hard. The service was greatand the place was really clean. Next time I'd want to try some of the fruit juices that they have- they look really good! I'vealso heard that the flan cheesecake is great but unfortunately can't confirm that one yet either! I love what they're doing atArepa Culture, quality ingredients unique combinations of flavors. I'll definitely be back again soon! Read more

The arepas were the best I ever had! The rice was too Al dente for me but the flavor was good, but by far the best thing was... that cilantro sauce!! I could drink it!! Read more

We had tried their food truck a couple of years ago when they were parked at a brewery and really liked it. So we were excited... to try their brick and mortar location. Huge disappointment! The staff wasn't very friendly and the prices were ridiculous! For2 arepas and 2 aqua frescas we spent $25. Guasaca is exponentially cheaper and much more flavorful. The arepas lacked any realflavor and appeared to be devoid of spices. We were not fans and do not have any plans to go back. Read more

The owner of the business is the one who took our order, and oh my gosh she was just lovely! So personable, passionate about her... business, caring about us, she even introduced us to her mom! I love her personality and how she showed us her personal side; itwasn't about just getting the order/business, and sending us on her way. This level of care transcends into her passion fordelicious food. I LOVE that they had two vegan options, both of which were delicious. They offer vegan cilantro sauce, too, which is so good! They have composting and recycling there as well. All of the staff was also very friendly. We live in Florida,so we can't be regulars :( but we have family in Durham, and when we come back, we will certainly visit again ! Higy recommend ! Read more

Got the ?El Beyond? arepa. It was delicious in that it was flavorful. It was a bit too salty for me though.. . The drinks were... refreshing but also very sweet. If the salty and sweet were dialed down by a notch, it?d be perfect! Loved the cilantro sauce! Read more
