This restaurant is incredible in every way. Service, food, portions, ambiance. My husband said they have the best steak he's... ever had. It was sweet and just slightly salty. We went here for a birthday, and thisbwas our first time. We had a quiet backroom with just a few other occupied tables,... reservations were not difficult to get, we had a excellent waitress, very knowledgeable. They had a great cigar selection, wineselection was incredible! I love high end food recipes from chefs, and we had the oysters, salads, and the Tomahawk between meand my wife, and for desert fresh pecan pie and cheesecake. Our food was mouth watering! My party all got some variation of steak and shared the tomahawk steak. My other friends were not really impressed with their... own individual steak. I got the NY strip steak and it was alright, I asked for blackened and medium rare and they delivered butit was no where near as good as the tomahawk steak. The tomahawk steak itself was crispy on the outside and very juicy on theinside. It was seasoned well and definitely worth the $80+. They also gave us some chips with cheese which was reallyaddicting. The pickles were also very good. The mignon meat balls were alright but the dipping sauce it came added got flavor toit. The decor of the restaurant is really nice and it does add an extra star to the rating. Over all I would come back againand have the tomahawk steak again. Read more
So we finally got to the Famous Angus Barn and honestly they didn?t disappoint us. Let?s start with the service it was... phenomenal and very appreciated. Secondly the atmosphere was so inviting and warm, it felt safe and it was very clean. Ourwaitress Jillian was they sweetest loved her, she was amazing with our 3 yr old. Lastly Our Food was simply Awesome we enjoyedeverything, I was truly pleased with our experience at the Angus Barn and We will definitely be back for more continue to keepup the Wonderful work you have been providing you all have such an amazing team of individuals. Been a few times and it's always delicious! Great food and knowledgeable staff with outstanding service. It's a must if you're... in the area, just a great historic place. My husband and I booked a private dinner at the Angus Barn after our wedding ceremony and it was perfect! The booking process... was really easy and the private dining coordinator (thanks Nicole!) was so easy to get in touch with. The dinner itself wasfantastic, the room was decorated so elegantly, the table setting was beautiful, and the service was outstanding. The food wasout of this world, we were able to select our own menu and they were able to accommodate a dietary restriction for one of theguests in our party. Best service I have ever had, our host of the evening Mike was wonderful and so accommodating. The spacewas so beautiful and elegant, we also selected the option to have the private bar open to serve us drinks before the dinner. My favorite place to get a great steak! Excellent venue with great wait staff! Colt gun collection on site and a bar and gift... shop as well. The meal begins with homemade crackers and two kinds of cheese spread. Next is relish tray with olives, pickles,peppers, and pickles. Then the rich and delicious French onion soup with perfectly toasted cheese on top. Homemade rolls withhoney butter arrive and then we got grilled marinated shrimp with clarified butter. Next arrives the main course of a mediumrare aged ribeye with baked sweet potato both of which are cooked perfectly! I'm stuffed and barely able to breathe but it's notAngus Barn without chocolate chess pie topped with fresh whipped cream! Last but not least is a fresh made pound cake withraspberry drizzle and fresh whipped cream that is to die for! Did I mention the sweet tea is the best on planet Earth and hasthe perfect amount of sugar? Great meal and great place! Read more
We?ve been coming to AB for years. We especially love dining during the holidays. Every inch of this large restaurant is... decorated. You definitely need a reservation and during the holidays they get booked out months in advance. It?s not cheap butit is amazing. We have dined here with colleagues, with family, & with other couples & it?s always a great evening. Once youare seated they bring out a basket of bread and a bowl of different cheese spreads and amazing amazing crackers and a bowl withvarious pickled veggies. If you?re not careful you will get full before your entrees arrive. Their desserts are definitelyworth trying or taking them home if you?re full. Plan accordingly and enjoy! Read more
