As a transplanted New Yorker I'm always on the lookout for two NY staples. One is a good bagel (come on - you know what the... other one is!). I was told that I wouldn't find good bagels in N Carolina but then I came across Andy's (Lucille's?) NY BagelCafe & Deli! I had already been burned once by a place that supposedly had 'good' bagels - but THIS place was legit! Want totest it? Try the Cinnamon Raisin bagel. They nailed it. Don't be fooled. A bagel is NOT just a giant bread cheerio. There's atexture, a bite, a chew... Glad I found this place - just with it was close enough to do a regular Saturday morning bagel run.Next - a bagel breakfast sandwich! I have high expectations! Read more

I used to love the bagels here, but sadly the quality has gone out the window. A couple weeks ago, I went for a bagel sandwich... and the bagel was stale. I gave them another chance and went this morning at 9am and bought a dozen bagels and 3 cream cheeses. The bagels were clearly from yesterday (or maybe the day before) - they were rock hard and had to be toasted in order to beedible. We love this shop! Unique and fun bagels and of course the ones we all are used to. I recommend this shop to everyone! I swear... their rainbow bagel is the best ?plain? bagel I?ve ever had! To top it off they offer Lox Cream Cheese, Honey Almond creamcheese, &Honey Butter!! Read more

Freshly made sandwiches! Bagels where fresh and not dry or hard at all. The staff was very friendly and price is decent

The location is super convenient and the store is clean. But I am disappointed in the service and food. I ordered two eggs... scrambled, cheddar cheese and bacon, and toast. It was honestly the worst breakfast plate I have had. There was no cheddarcheese, any flavor, and bacon tasted just like the kind that is precooked and just needs a few seconds in the microwave, andhard white bread. Normally I wouldn't be upset, but I requested 4 specific items and paid well over $5 for this meal. I wasinitially excited that this location had boars Head products...but I am not sure they have fulfilled that expectation for foodquality. Read more
