I ordered fried catfish, fried okra, black eyed peas and greens. The food tasted good. I didn't like that it took over an hour... for it to be delivered. I live north in Kenosha. When it finally arrived, this obese woman huffed and puffed very slowly upone flight of stairs. She was the delivery person. My food was tossed around in the container and mixed together. Our 1st visit. Ordered the lobster ???? deep fried over fries ????. I added 1 piece of catfish. My husband ordered the shrimp... boil. Everything was good. Unfortunately many of the things we wanted to try were out. Limited staff but the young lady whobartender, stepped in to waitress. She didn't miss a beat. We're told that Sundays are the best days to visit for the soul foodand seafood meals and egg roll peach cobbler. Read more
Food is great. The place is to small to grow a dine-in business. We dined in and there are 4 tables with one long bench seat... along the wall and 2 chairs for each table. Service was good and food choices were definitely new for this city. Read more
No pineapple juice for drinks Mac& cheese and Chicken alfredo was very salty didn?t eat it was told still had to pay for it soul... rolls had no greens and when asked to speak with owner stated she was pulling up waited and never showed catfish and chickenwings where ok and the bartender was great loved her energy Read more
The rum based drinks are all delicious, and their boils doused in garlic sauces are out of this world delicious!
Mac and cheese was cold. Regular Chicken Alfredo was pretty bland. Seems like they use the pre-cooked chicken meat and just fry... that up. ?Loaded Fries? were just a handful of fries with some white cheese sauce on top, garnished with some herbs. Yesterday I bought in that restaurant a plate called Vubox I think that was the name I added shrimp for another 9 dollars in... total I paid 26 dollars I thought it would be an adequate one for that price and it turns out it was a very small plate with 4shrimp a corn and very very salty rice today I woke up sick from eating that because I didn't eat anything else after eating Istarted to feel weird today I can't eat anything because everything disgusts me expensive with bad taste and very small portionsdisappointed and sick.
