It's so good and close to the lake shore. You should try take-out and head to wind point. The tacos are prety good!
Food was excellent, although expensive. Barbacoa was about $15 a pound. The regular menu stuff is decently priced and... delicious. Place is cash only so keep that in mind when going to get your food. Read more

I?m not familiar with the area, but when I found this place, I saw a number of people coming and going with food, so it looked... promising. Ordered two tacos for dine in. It has a small seating area, and I was surprised to be given chips and salsa priorto receiving my food. Chips were slightly stale but the salsa was very good, and that wasn?t why I was there anyway. I orderedan Al pastor and barbacoa and I cannot tell you which was better, as they were both absolutely delicious. Total was $6.30 andit was the perfect amount of food. I cannot wait to go back. One of Racine's best kept secrets lies here at the legendary LaTapatia. Great, authentic Mexican food. The prices have soared... over the years, but it's worth it if you ask me. Would be nice to see a restaurant expansion somewhere in the future. Woulddefinitely recommend. Read more
