I like to judge a Mexican restaurant by their tamales and Javier's did not disappoint. I was very impressed, it has been a while... since I have had tamales that good. We haven?t been here in 7 years, but really wanted to come back. Years ago I tried a frozen sangria drink and thought it was the... most amazing drink ever. We went there for my bday today and got the most amazing service I think I ever had. I was soimpressed, and the funny thing is that they didn?t even know it was my bday. I got asked many, many times if I needed morewater, chips, salsa, and in general if everything was ok. We got table side Guacamole and they literally made it right next tothe table on a cart. It was so cool! The food was really good too. We all got ours, but my husbands was late by maybe 3 mins.They were very apologetic, and honestly it wasn?t even slightly a big deal. A lot of restaurants do that! Anyway, the managerended up giving us a decent discount for that and gave us a card for a free appetizer for the next time we come in. We willALWAYS come back. After so many attempts to visit this restaurant and unfortunately being unsuccessful due to my schedule, I was finally able to... dine in! The food was amazing! And the staff was super friendly as well. My husband and I ordered a side of Guacamole forappetizer and let me tell you, I was beyond impressed to see that they prepared it right in front of us with fresh ingredients.Our waitress Johanna was super attentive at all times and constantly checked in for any needed assistance. The environment isnice and clean. Not to mention the music but I loved that they keep it at a decent volume and unlike other restaurants you canactually enjoy a meal and still be able to withhold a conversation with whom ever you?re dinning with. Food was good as always. I was a little chilly today and decided to order the Clam Chowder which was a special. When I think of... special I'm thinking ok it must be on sale today. Why did I get my bill and it stated the soup was $8.50 ???????????? Not happyat all. Read more
Wonderfully warm and welcoming atmosphere. Johanna is the best! So customer focused. Fajitas outstanding (though with the shrimp... option, they were tiny). Steak ranchero and burritos were excellent. They make you feel like family! We will return. Read more
