We absolutely LOVED our experience here. The wait staff was pleasant and attentive and took the time to understand food... allergies before making food recommendations. The drinks were incredible and reasonably priced for specialty drinks in a small,local place. On to the food—portions were larger than most places of this variety. The menu describes dishes well and what itcan’t capture, staff makes sure to be able to. I wasn’t sure if I wanted pork—oh my gosh, I couldn’t have been happier.And as for my husband, the macaroni dish he had was not only somehow gourmet but delicious enough to eat for days on end (andlarge enough for more than one meal). We’ve just now moved out of Racine and truthfully, I didn’t like living theremuch—but I would go back for dinner here again. Read more
FANTASTIC FOOD. Seriously, the mac n cheese was soooo good. However, as is the norm right now, service is lacking. All the food... was delivered cold, excluding the appetizer that was delivered piping hot after our main course was delivered because it waslikely made on the fly once the server realized he forgot it. We were greeted by Juan for our 5:00pm dinner reservation and immediately seated. This restaurant uses the YELP! app for making... and cancelling reservations. Juan promptly left us with menus and took our drink orders. We both ordered the beet salad andboneless ribeye. The salad was delicious but as Juan warned us one salad could have fed the two of us. But that's okay, we'lleat the leftovers tomorrow! My wife ordered her ribeye (medium) with the mashed cauliflower. She loved both. I ordered my ribeye(medium) with garlic mashed potatoes. Both steaks had a perfect sear, were very juicy, tender and done to perfection. At 14ounces each, there was plenty to take home. The side vegetables, a squash, onion and sweet potato medley were spiced just enoughfor me a bit much for my wife. We were in at 5:00pm, enjoyed a great meal. We dipped into the restaurant this evening and took this chance to check out the new menu. We ordered meatballs, salmon and... chicken as our entrees and no one was disappointed. The soup was oyster Rockefeller which was delicious. We sampled the bakedbrie which was beautifully presented and tasty. If you're able to stop in and sample the menu I don't think that you will bedisappointed. Read more
Updated Review - 12/4/22: I know I have said this before… but my wife and I love the B&B Cheeseburger from Butcher & Barrel. ... They are delicious! The meat is cooked perfect. The buns are soft and fresh. The fries are hot. And the salads are fresh. When we are in the mood for a cheeseburger…. Butcher & Barrel is who we call.
