Well, well, well.. we waited for a bit until we went to check this gem out. Have to at least start to get the quirks out before... an honest review and we were pleasantly surprised with our first visit. The greeting, atmosphere, food ,drinks and staff were agreat surprise! I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, which was fresh, delicious and placed on a toasted bun that fulfilledmy expectations for sure. My better half had the shrimp and grits which had a great presentation with a flavor that wasdirect, calm and a 4 out of 5. The prices are very fair and the beverage selection was awesome. Recently opened, Cooper?s is nestled in the back of a larger building. GPS will say you?ve arrived but will be in front of a CPA... office. Keep going to the back and you will be there. The restaurant is open concept and fairly large so can accommodate largerparties. The bar is well stocked. Service was warm and friendly. The food was terrific and fresh. Calamari was tender andflavorful. My wife had fish and chips and I had the brisket tacos. Strongly recommend and it?s worth the trip from Richmond,Hampton Roads or if you?re wanting to make a stop to eat on your trip if you?re not from around here. Will definitely be back. Read more
Finally! A 5-star restaurant nearby. (At Bottoms Bridge) This place is nice. Yes there are two large bars but the restaurant is... large area too. The food is really good and amounts are huge. Lots of choices. Different dishes too and many fish choices.Easily can share appetizers and entrees. Prices reasonable. Highly recommend. Read more

When I first heard of this place, I was super thrilled. We don?t have many restaurant options in new kent so to hear that we... were getting a stylish restaurant/bar was exciting. Tonight was our first time actually visiting and all I can say is, WOW! Notonly does this place have a great vibe but the food was sooo tasty, and the service is what really made our experience sooogreat. Our server Lexa, was so personable and friendly. At some point, another woman(I assumed to be the manager) visited ourtable, and she was also super friendly. My fiancé and I ordered the Brussels sprouts, the chipotle chicken southwest bowl, andthe chipotle chicken tacos. My fiancé?s words verbatim: ?this is the best taco I?ve ever had.? He repeated this at least 3times during our dinner and he is such a picky eater! My southwest bowl was just as good and flavorful( especially with thechimichurri sauce that our server recommended). My favorite though, was probably the Brussels sprouts appetizer! Literally thebest crispy Brussels sprouts I?ve had in a while! Oh and the dessert cheesecake cannoli?..sooo good! I wish I had taken betterpictures but the food was just soo good that we dove in and didn?t remember to take pictures until we had half-devoured ourfood. Can?t wait to go back!
