I decided to change my initial rating from 5 to 3 stars. My first two orders in June were high quality (1) fried lobster and (2)... seafood plate. Two separate orders on different dates. They were very fresh, but of course they had a high price. That said, Ididn't care about the price. I focused on the quality and professionalism of the staff. So my initial 5-star rating was based onthe quality, consistency and greeting of the staff when I came in to collect my order, and efficiency in theverification/checkout. However, today's the girl clearly ruined my phone order of seafood plate. I asked to replace calamari inmy seafood plate with extra clams. That didn't happen, after I checked the order when I got home. Also, the taste of my of friedseafood (unlike the first time) was like a burnt oil. In addition, they did not include tartar sauce that should be addedautomatically in the order of seafood plate. The girl at the register was a little rude, too. Consistency is key and they haveto keep this value to keep customers happy. Read more

I'm not gonna tell you that the food here is not good. The food here is excellent. However, tonight we got there at 8:30 and... was told that we can order but we have to take our food to go. I asked if closing time was 9pm and he said it is but tonightit's around 8:30. I get it, they wanted to clean up and go home. I told him that we would eat real fast and leave. He said no. I said so you want me to spend 300 dollars and eat my food out in the cold. I asked if we could eat out on the deck and he saidhe was going to turn the lights off. We got our food and ate it outside while we watched other ppl come in and buy food until 9pm. They never closed at 8:30m like they said but they just didn't want you to use their tables. IF you don't want ppl to eatat your place, then lock the doors and say that you're closed. Tony, if you're closed, then lock the doors. If the doors areopen, sell us food and let us eat it and get out before closing time. We drove from Soutborough. Read more

Excellent quality seafood without much pretentiousness or fluff; they really let the (shell)fish speak for itself. Service was... good and the atmosphere was top notch. Maybe a bit on the pricy end, but worth if for a table with a bay view. Read more

Typical touristy fried seafood place on a beach. After trying The Clam Box next doors, I wanted to compare fried clams between... the two. Ordered small fried clams and fried oysters, and they were both okay. Clams here definitely had better texture (butless seafood flavor) than the other, but overall, I enjoyed the ones here more despite the hefty price tag. Fried oysters alsolacked flavors and I couldn?t exactly tell if I was eating oysters, but it went nicely with the tartare sauce nonetheless. Read more
