I?m not usually a negative person but frankly every aspect of my experience here was bad! 20 minute wait to get seated, another... 10 minutes to get a cup for coffee, watched the chef dripping sweat over the oven, touching his hands all over, throwingfood/plates around at careless speeds, put receipts right on top of the food, the home fries were hard, the food was bland, andthe prices were high for the dive-bar scene you get Read more

After reading some of the reviews about slow service, I decided to time our entire experience. We arrived at 09:46am, and were... seated immediately (there were 2 open tables at the time). I take a bit longer when looking over the menu, because I try not torely on the normal "go-to" items, and like to try new things, so wanted to explore all options, having never visited this placebefore (we were visiting from Ireland). We spent 7 minutes before ordering our food. After helping ourselves to the self-servecoffee (in various flavors!), our food showed up at exactly 10:06am. Nothing was undercooked or overcooked, it all came outexactly as expected. That's 20 minutes total from the time we arrived, placing our order, and receiving our food. Often timeswhen people complain about long wait times, they don't consider the chatting they do with their group, or scrolling throughsocial media, before even looking at the menu and wasting more of the server's time. Next time you see reviews about long waittimes, consider all of the variables. I even had a chat with the owner about some of the negative reviews I've previously seen.Yes, the global COVID pandemic hit everyone, so of course there will be some staff shortages everywhere, so bear that in mind ifcomplaining about being understaffed (but was assured that more staff will be brough in soon). In fact, despite being only 1cook that day, and an eventually full restaurant and half the bar stools taken, everyone's food was brought out in the sameamount of time as ours, from what we encountered. Our variables, for consideration: 2 adults, one of which is a picky eater, went about an hour before they closed for breakfast; food order was "The Scrambler" and "Breakfast Burrito" with bottomlesscoffees (self-served). We had breakfast in a few other places on this trip (Alaska, Connecticut, Rhode Island, andMassachusetts), and they all had "home fries" done differently. Craig's Cafe was by far the best version of home fries Read more

WARNING DO NOT GO THERE I have been here on 2 different occasions and never actually got to eat the food. First time I was... seated almost instantly at the bar then waited for over an hour for the food to never show up. Was rudely ignored and neveractually was given an exact idea of when the food would come out. So we left. I returned about 4 months later hoping it was afluke instead I waited about a half hour for a table which is normal for a Sunday morning. But while I was waiting I watched 2different guys leave over take out that was paid for and just never came out. So I knew this was gonna be a repeat but I washopeful I realized as I was being seated that the tables that when I was first got there hadn't been served for that entire halfhour. I still tortured myself and waited for over 45 minutes after ordering and realized it wasn't gonna happen. The food nevershowed and still extremely rude service I have no idea how this place makes any money. WARNING DO NOT GO THERE Read more
