I went here after hitting town, late at night. I went in and had a beer while waiting on my Cuban sandwich and sweet potato... fried to be prepared. It was a great atmosphere, with a friendly lady taking my order.. I finished my beer and went to my airbnbfor the night. The fries were bangin', but the sandwich was a total bomb. I took a bite of one half and was like, uh what? Thistaste is off. I open it up and okay, there's the ham, cheese, mustard and pickle. What is this on top? It ain't any pulled porkI've ever seen. It had the consistency of tuna or cat food. It must have been crazy processed if it was pork. So in the end,the fries and beer were bangin'. The sandwich, nah I ain't hangin'. Small and cozy local place in Astoria. Staff is polite and friendly and prices are more than reasonable. Amazing food, have been... coming once a week trying different meals and never got disapointed. Burgers are great, Quesadilla is my favorite, and garlicfries is a must. Cool local spot with dive-y vibes. My friend is a regular here and frequently posts to his IG so I decided to come join him. The... staff was super friendly and service was great! We ordered three apps, two entrees, and a couple of drinks. My frozen mangodrink was totally five stars. The Mac and cheese bites were good and I would order the totchos again. But the true star was thehulk dumplings!! These were absolutely the best vegetable dumplings I've ever had. I almost didn't even realize they werevegetarian, the filling was so hearty and the peanut sauce was so fantastic. The home sweet home coconut shrimp was ok but wasthe weak link of the order. The t bone steak was much better! The entrees were a bit pricey in my opinion, but I would come backas there are more appetizers and new menu items I would like to try. Read more
