I live in Great Neck here. This is one of my favorite shabu shabu restaurant. Seriously, i have been here many times and always... never get disappointment to return back mainly cos i love the friendliness and kind service from the server?s here. They allreally so friendly and helpful. Some of them, even recognised us when we return back to them and so welcoming us back. I feellike their service beyond my expectation. The foods is good with wide selection for me and i like the Spicy pork bone. soup themost. The atmosphere was good and clean. The server always come to you and check on you see if you need anything else or addbroth for you. Even though, dinner time always get crowded but trust me they never let me down. Spacious seating and gorgeous interior. Meats and broth are ordered at the table but everything else like vegetables, noodles... and sauce station you get by yourself so you get to choose. Dessert options were mango pudding and icecream. Plenty of parkingin the back. Read more
First time being at an all you can eat individual serving hot pot place. The food was good and there were a lot of options to... choose from we went for lunch on a Tuesday and it was not even at 50% capacity but was told if we go over 90 minutes we wouldincur a 20% charge. Our first time was on Sunday around 4pm or 5pm. We were sitting towards the right. The waiter gave us the menu and first you... must choose your broth. Meat and seafood are extra fees. But if you're a vegetarian, this is your spot. They offer a largevariety of vegetables - enough IMO. They do not have many sauces to choose for dipping, but it is not bad at all. They alsoserve Taro ice cream, Chocolate ice cream and mango pudding. The waiters were attentive, refilling our water and broth. We askfor our check and the water ask us nicely if we can tip in cash. I went here with family and friends a good amount of times. Yasaiya is a hotpot place that is also a buffet and allows you to... grab your own food and pick whatever broth you would like. Everyone gets their own individual hotpot. For meat you have to orderthat separately. There is also a sauce station where you can make your own sauce. I usually go their for lunch since it?scheaper, dinner however is more expensive. Overall it?s a good place to have a hotpot at and I recommend it! Read more
First time here on a Saturday and this place is great. Lots a veggie with individual hotpot. All you can eat on veggie and... noodles. Sliced meats are extra but the price is very reasonable. I picked the spicy pot and the flavor is great. I ate tillI had to unbutton my belt buckle. It was well worth it. Oh almost forgot. Free soft serve ice cream included in the meal! Read more
Went on a Saturday dinner and albeit busy, the servers were kind throughout in getting our things promptly while checking in... from time to time to make sure we were happy! The wide selection of ingredients to put in and choose from are great and freshat the moment, so I have no doubt of my return soon. However, my lower rating comes from the fact that during the midst ofeating, the workers were either organizing the dishes to put outside or collecting for washing. But the noise was so unbearablyloud and kept going for a consistently long time that I couldn't even talk or hear properly, pretty sure ruining my mood formyself and my loved ones. I hope this can be fixed and better handled as everything else is alright, hoping the rating can beimproved later on but thank you kindly for the Yasaiya team for the good food! ???? Read more
