Everything was perfect pasta,wine margaritas was ok
Food was mediocre, overpriced ($20 for a bisque with no visible seafood chunks, $30 for a dreary bolognese), and the waiter... forgot part of my order. He repeated it back to me when writing it down , forgot it, and didn’t offer to comp me when he hadto bring it when we were already halfway through the entrees. I spent $90 just for myself and my partner spent $50 on just somepasta, one glass of wine, and coffee, so I don’t think a comp was undeserved.. I would rate the food higher if the priceswere slashed by a third. I can get equivalent pasta for $10-$15 a bowl. I really wanted to like this place but it just missedthe mark in every way. Read more
This is the last time I will go to this restaurant. It is not because of bad service or the food. It is that when I paid the... check with my credit card. One of the employees decide to add a tip without notifying that they did it. This way I did not haveto but a cash tip when I left the restaurant. So they received tips twice. Unfair to the customers and because of you employeesis greedy. I will never go to this restaurant again. Read more
Amazing staff and amazing food! Very attentive but not overwhelming. It was a quiet Thursday night, I was surprised they didn't... have a lot of customers. This was my second time but not my last. I brought my mom and family here to celebrate her birthday.The waitress recommended a wine for my mother based on her preference and my mother's empty wine glass spoke for itself. All thefood was great. They have amazing desserts as well. They were kind enough to write Happy birthday on the dessert ate too. Thankyou so much for helping celebrate my mom's birthday. Read more
We had a beautiful birthday dinner here, which turned into an engagement. Everything about this restaurant from the food to the... ambiance was truly amazing. The staff was polite and attentive along with the owner, he showed much kindness and hospitality. Myfiance and I had the Calamari, very fresh and beautifully prepared. The Pollo al Parmigiano and the Fettuccine alla Bolognesewhich were two of these best meals we have ever had from any other restaurant. From now on it is a must that we come here everytime we visit New York. Read more
This place is special. Hands down the best pasta in Astoria. Their artichoke appetizer should also be famous - it’s that... delicious. The owner and staff are also incredible and so welcoming. Highly recommend if you want an authentic Italianexperience. This is the closest thing you will get to REAL Italian food in the U.S. Not American-ized Italian like too manyplaces in NYC.
