Literally the best local sushi spot ! Been coming here for a while , finally took the time to give them the credit. Love their... portions, everything comes out super fast. They always bring out something on the house , usually sweet potato roll. Hardly anywait time , usually in and out. Everything is fresh and tastes good. What happened to my favorite sushi place ? It's going downhill. I completely understand that prices went up, everything did, but... the quality shouldn't suffer. Naruto is half the size and the dancing salmon is a shame it's 90% tempura batter and 10% salmon.The only consistent thing is the snow main. Oh when I called the owner (and texted him pictures) I was told that he sees alittle of salmon there, the what! And how dare I tell him that they send us garbage, I said it because you did. And this is notthe first time I had a situation with the rude person that picked up the phone, I am a customer and guess what you should havesome customer service skills, don't yell and argue with your customers! Oh and to top it all off the delivery driver tried torip me off $4 and give himself an extra tip. My bill was 91.56 he told me it was 95.56 and was refusing to give me my receipt,telling me I don't get one, of course because you wanted to rip me off ! Well dear Umi Sushi you just lost a customer that hasbeen a customer for over 5 years! And has been ordering sushi for $100-$150 sometimes even 2 times a week. Read more
Came here for some sushi rolls and everything was tasty and fresh. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality and they also... gave us some veg tempura roll to try. The take out order was prepared right on time and they even called to remind us. Definitely a gem and will be returning. Read more
I came here because the other sushi shop ( Nikko ) 2 doors down was rude. I came to review their restaurant again and asked why... the employees were yelling and she stated ? that?s how we talk? so I came to Umi Sushi instead. There were more people in Umisushi than their competitor?s ( Nikko Sushi ) next door. A clear sign I was in for a treat. I had the sushi and sashimi combo.The waiter gave me a sample of the sushi called sweet potato mango with sauce and I loved it so much that I had a platter of itto dine in. Everything was fresh, even the soy sauce. And the waiter refilled my glass of water without me asking him to dothat. That?s service in my book.I even watched him clean the table after the bus boys clean the table meticulously.the bathroomwas clean also. The employees preparing the food all wore gloves and face masks. My bill came out to $33.64, no bad for lunch.Please patronize this place. Read more
Ordered take out from here on a Friday night. We ordered the Beef Negimaki, California roll, Honey River roll, crispy tuna roll... w/smoked eel was delicious and a Charisi. Everything was packaged perfectly no spills. Prices were $2.00 more than the menusposted on Google. After unpacking we realized we got a complimentary roll. Would eat here again. Read more
