If I could give ten stars I would. Heck take it to 11, the staff was over the top friendly and inviting. Service was excellent.... They worked together to create a seamless dining experience. Now the food? amazing portions and so so so tasty. We had thestuffed sole, grilled chicken, and to top it off, Altin our waiter brought us desert and a couple shots to cap off the meal.Highly recommend eating here. Read more

I had not been back since the pandemic and it was a wonderful surprise to dine at the new location. Taverna Kyclades is... maintaining its quality-obsessed approach which led the brand to its NY success. We always order the same items and they areconsistently prepared with excellence : the Greek salad is fresh, crispy and delicisiouly seasoned, the branzino is grilled toperfection, the lemon potatoes were dry, undercooked and needed more focused attention and the grilled octopus was as addictiveas usual. Of course the complementary custard is as unique as the rest of the dinner. I love it so much that sometimes I wouldactually buy a whole tray to take home with me. Read more

Love this place for some grilled shrimps. One of my favorites. Service here is always on point. A must try is grilled octopus.... It has every flavor possible. Lemon potatoes paired deliciously with some grilled branzino or shrimps. The baklava desert isalso very good. Go early since this place tend to be pretty packed. Read more

The best Greek restaurant in NYC for sure! One of our favorite restaurants in our neighborhood! It?s always a long line of wait,... so be sure to be there earlier or make a reservation in advance. The seafood was awesome and the outdoor dining was very niceespecially during the sunset, feels like in Greece! The branzino was our favorite, and the roasted baby shark is also yummy! Wehad an amazing night dining here, will come next time with family and friends to try more dishes! Read more

I'm very lucky to live nearby this famous restaurant. Authentic Greek Salad, fresh and meaty Mackerel, and Squid was perfectly... grilled. Always enjoyed eating here, always full of customers, very live atmosphere, the new location in Ditmars Blvd. standsout and better than the old place. Read more

Excellent Greek restaurant. Quality and fresh products with delicate Mediterranean spices. As an appetaizers the grilled... octopus was excellent, the stuffed vine leaves were delicious, and the salads were fresh. The fish and the meat for main courseswere excellent, and the dessert was served on the house. Because of the food quality and also because of the friendly service itis highly recommended restaurant. This place was perfect. We came on New Years Eve for lunch/brunch so I expected service to be impacted. To my surprise, the... service was phenomenal even though they were very busy. Our server, Gussy, was helpful and quick! The food was unbelievablydelicious. We got the seafood dish for two with clams, scallops, shrimp, lobster tail, and fish: it was a perfect meal. Read more

This is a quintessential Greek restaurant that all New Yorkers must visit. The first time I went to Kyclades was more than 10... years ago, and the restaurant did not change a bit since! Where to start :) they don't take reservations, you should come inand put your name with a hostess, the usual wait time is 30 min +. Once seated you will be served by a handsome Greek man. Thefood usually comes pretty fast, you might need to wait a bit longer for the main course. I always order Greek salad here, somesort or fish and a side of lemon potatoes. Last time we ordered stuffed clams and they were just finger licking good! Grilledoctopus was juicy and delicious as well. What should I say about branzino - you couldn't get better tasting one in miles'radius! House wine is good too! At the end of your meal you get a great bonus - a piece of Greek custard pie on the house! Whatcould be better than that to end a feast for your stomach :) Read more
