We were looking for a place that would be good for kids near JFK, decided to try Sugar Factory. My daughter loved it, she was... enamored by all the decorations and had a great time dancing to the music. I had a chicken Caesar salad and it was good, nothingto write home about. However, my wife got the Brick Chicken and holy cow was it delicious. The mashed potatoes were insane, Icould have made a meal just out of those. The chicken was juicy and crispy, such a great dish, can't recommend it enough. We hadthe cookie skillet for dessert, so freaking good, insanely rich and sweet, definitely a sharable dessert! Food is decent. We went on a Fri night to celebrate my niece's graduation. Place was packed. Our first server was good but once... he left, we never saw the other server drinks tasted like juice no alcohol at all. We waited for new drinks never came, when itwas time to ask for out check we waited over 30min until we decided to get up look for the manager and asked for the check andpay. Read more

My family celebrated a birthday there and I must say, ?We had a ball!?. The food was great and the desserts were a sight to... see. My first time here and probably my last time. The music and ambiance were fine. I had a party of 10 and the hostess and waiter... barely even acknowledged us or even said hello. Upon being seated I stepped on a strawberry that was under the table. I lookedcloser and noticed underneath was completely filthy loitered with trash from the last party. The water we were given tasted likethe faucet but not even passable.. very nasty and my water had something black in it too. Now as for the food.. I had ordered aburger which I would say was actually very tasty but the bun was very greasy and messy "I'd assume butter". Half of my partyordered pasta and none of them finished it. Pasta was disgusting and inedible, no seasoning and too chewy. 5 pasta dishes allaround 25 dollars and just very bad. Like prego was their main ingredient. They have this dish where the burger buns aredifferent colored... and they tasted purely like food coloring and just disgusting. Their desserts are intricately designed andlook great but honestly were disappointing. I love desserts and find myself having tried desserts from over 200 places and thisplace while decorative did not have good tasting desserts. The strawberries weren't fresh and discolored. I had a chocolate chipcookie sandwich which was hard as a brick and just basic. For the price, the food was not worth it at all. Especiallyconsidering they put 20% surcharge on the bill regardless how big your party is. You'd think with that they'd hire better cooksand more attentive staff. Honestly the service and hygiene at a Dennys is better. Came here for my mother's birthday andhonestly she seemed upset just bad and poor. We celebrated our daughters sweet 16 in the private dining room at this location. Everything from the service, food, drinks was... amazing. Great communication from Ashley who helped me plan the best celebration for our daughter. Every single person workingthe room that night was great and went above and beyond for our daughter and her friends. Had a blast. Went for my 30th birthday. Drinks are a bit pricey but are worth it. The food was decent. The staff was very... pleasant and made sure everything was right and checked on us constantly. I would say if your going out for drinks and maybeappetizers this is the place. The food was okay nothing to brag about really. The ambience and music was great.
