Lovely location, good food, nice waiters and a beautiful view.

Lovely place, amazing food, the view is a bonus too. The entire staff is very warm and welcoming- they all went out of their way... to make our Father’s day family dinner special. Food was delicious but service was terrible. We had a reservation but it was not respected, the waitress was not on top of the... needs of the table like utensils, glasses for the sparkling water, there was one dish missing in the table and when we asked forit her response was that everything was already provided. At the moment of the dessert they didn’t allow for us to finish thedish and were picking up plates without asking if we were done. Although food was good, I wouldn’t come back because of theservice. Food was here is delicious! The pizzas are so flavorful. Large menu variety as well so everyone at your table will find... something they like on the menu! Unfortunately, we did have one big issue which I have to point out and take a stars for ... Igot the Limoncello cocktail during my brunch. Twice actually! It was really good the first time. The second time my cocktailcame, it was delivered with the glass rim SO scorching hot so much to the point that I BURNED my lip. Apparently the bar torchesthe glass rim to create a sugar crust,... but you really need to warn your customers. My waiters brilliant response to myproblem was “you should turn the glass!” This was quite possibly the worst thing the waiter could have said - are youkidding me? Don’t insult my intelligence. Oh and after a $450+ dinner bill, the waiter couldn’t even be bothered toAPOLOGIZE or take off that one cocktail. Despite the good food, service here is just OKAY. First time visiting Piatto over the weekend for brunch. Very nice menu with many options. Our server was friendly but the... service was a little too slow for what we ordered. Our burgers were cooked medium well, instead of medium but still verytasty! Update: tried dinner, food was tasty. Bolognese well done. Read more

We ordered 3 different 10" personal pizzas and they all were very nice, thin crusted and very tasty. They definitely use nice... and fresh ingredients. While the overall service was nice, the upfront service charge wasn't. I would have paid those 20% too, Ijust don't like it when they make that decision for me (and then ask for some more). Amazing brick oven bread to start, fresh blue point oysters and could not have been happier about our entrees. Excellent service... from all of the staff from start to finish. Pam, our waitress, was personable, funny and very efficient. We will be back to trymore! P.S they deserve more than a 4.3 star rating. Read more
