I used to go to this way back since Persaud then Rick and now this new owner. It has always been a nice place to hang out. But... the truth is they have became very expensive running customers away. The other night we also order food and what used to be theamount for one they cut into two. I understand things are hard across but don't kill your regular customers. Word of advisehave $20 buckets and you will have customers. And if you have a spending customer offer them a free rounds. It's a great placeto hang out but tye price is way too high. I know this because I went to other bars on lib and they are all full with reasonablepricing less than half and twice the fun. The bartenders are very nice folks but its hard to leave them a decent tip when thebill is $300 plus just for a couple of drinks in less than 2 hrs. But we are local and I will still go. Read more

When Pete was managing this place, had great fresh food always with a good chef! Now hes not around . Mr.bubby and his... girlfriend running the place. I cannot believe you guys are serving people frozen food! You made the Mexican Porter into aMicrowave Chef lol even the rotis is frozen. I guess someone cooks it and have the Mexican microwave and serve to thecustomers. WOW. Don't believe ME just checked fridge and the kitchen! Look for yourself! Read more

GUYANA ???????? Eat the World NYC review: The Original Palm Court in Georgetown, the capital city of Guyana, is a place every... local and tourist knows about and ends up at least once. The vast indoor-outdoor establishment serves as a restaurant, bar, andnightlife spot, something this popular Jamaica, Queens spot replicates. Live cricket is a big draw when big internationalmatches are taking place, but drinks and a menu serving many of Guyana's cultures is why most come back again and again. Read more

Must say the service has improved! Took the kids out today for lunch and we all enjoyed the food, music and our waitress!

Worst place to order food! I ordered a mix fried rice for pick up then when I got there the lady started arguing with me telling... me that I ordered a roast pork fried rice. Now I'm Guyanese what the hell. I don't know what that is. Then I told her I'm notpaying for that because I didn't order that and she argued some more with me until she agreed to order my mix fried rice. Butget this the food came out and I left only to open the bag and find a chicken fried rice. I've never been so frustrated oversomething so simple I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Don't be like me and waste ur time to come here you wouldbe better of at any of those Guyanese spots on liberty ave. Read more
