Let me tell you; we order large quantities of buñuelos, pan de bonos, etc. And while this place may have good baked goods, the... service here is terrible. Here's our most recent experience - my dad had stopped by to buy a few empanadas and noticed theempanadas looked oily. He commented to the lady kindly, pointing out that the empanadas looked a bit oily, and her response was(verbatim) "entonces no las compre aqui" in English, so don't buy them here. Wow. Really? So we've decided to stop by adifferent bakery (out of the many in Queens) for a large (90-unit) order of pan de bonos. A quick note, this is not the firsttime your employees have been rude. Edit 9/12/22: I finally got food from this place! Service is still horrible, as I was ordering food a woman came in and just... shouted her order, the person helping me started a conversation with her. Unbelievable! I raised my voice and finished orderingbut the worker asked me to repeat what I wanted. #Facepalm So, the pernil with rice, beans and plantains was good! The ricepudding tasted lile soap, the empanadas and mini arepas where crusty and dry (days old?). Overall, I rather get pernil from thedominicans down on 99st. Would definitely not ever try to get food here again. Would not recommend. Original review: I havebeen here three times in the last four months and have had the same negative experience with the workers. There is no line, soif you come in and wait to be served, the workers behind the counter will just randomly help whoever is closest to them. If youdo manage to get their attention they will walk away if you don?t give them an order. I asked one of them if they were stillserving breakfast and she said yes, then walked away to help someone else. On a different occasion I asked a worker if thebandeja came with sausage along with the chicharrón and steak, she said ?I don?t know, I?ll have to ask? then walked away tohelp someone else. I?ve yet to taste the food because no one has ever taken my order. Even when the place is empty the workersare busy doing something else with their backs turned to the counter. People will randomly walk in and yell out their orders andthe workers say ?ok!? I find this process chaotic and prefer to go down to the Colombian restaurant down on 55 ave and 99thstreet where you can stand online, order, pay, and get your food. Read more

Good soups. Empanadas were incredibly oily. The lady's working were not pleasant to interact with at all.
