i love this place! we use to go pretty regularly but i?ve been on a diet lately so i?ve been watching what i eat as their... portions are generous. i like to get the curry tofu vermicelli bowl or banh mi (add fried egg). i also love their classic banhxeo complete with the herb basket. it?s so fresh and satisfyingly crispy! specials are announced on IG. once they offered cha ca(vietnamese fried fish cake) which was so good! hard to find that in nyc. my husband likes to get the shrimp or berkshire porkvermicelli bowl (add extra spring rolls). the vermicelli bowls are so fresh with a nice medley of veggies and toppings. theirsauces are also super addicting and sometimes they offer special/experimental sauces which we love to try. it?s connected totrans pecos, which is a music venue/event space. sometimes i like to eat on the trans pecos side during lunch on the weekendsand there might be someone playing an experimental set to just 1-2 people. love the chill vibe during the day. The saddest vegan pho I have ever had. 1. It was not hot, 2. There are uncooked ingredients (raw onion and uncooked tofu!) 3.... The mix of vegetables is sad. They could do so much more, 4. They don't give a mix of herbs to add such as a plate of basil, jalapeno, and cilantro, 5. The broth is subpar. Recommendation: Take this item off the menu, it is not good. Or learn to make abetter pho. Read more

We were really hungry coming here. The pho broth started off really good with the noodles, but its actually really greasy/oily.... Mmmm, and there wasn?t much to taste. Jalapeños and peppers were nice tho, to add in and eat with. The vermicelli noodle withspring rolls were just ok. Summer rolls too. Papaya salad was refreshingly crunchy! But I don?t like onions so the friedshallots on it was distracting. The viet coffee was burnt and the green tea didn?t have any taste :( The sauces cilantropineapple and tomato fishsauce were an interesting try. Read more

I didn't expect the food to be good judging by the look--very artsy, very clean, no fish sauce smell. But to my surprise, the... grilled shrimp bún was amazingly delicious and healthy. Being a Vietnamese myself, I know this dish should be to be good. Willtry the ph? next time I'm in the area. Read more

Decided to give this place a try. Unfortunately I don?t think it?s for me, the sandwich was fine, the bread was very good but I... wasn?t a huge fan of the meat/overall flavor or lack there of. The veggies that came on the side for the spring rolls seemedold/parts of them were pretty wilted/discolored. Wasn?t rlly a fan of the dipping sauces either they were super watery and justkinda tasted weird and irony. Obviously other people like it, maybe it?s a more vegan/health oriented sorta spot.
