The pasta tasted strange & then I noticed this FLY was cooked into my food. I am sick now I will never eat here again.
Decided to try their spaghetti alla carbonara (a fave of mine) because I love their penne alla vodka. Extremely disappointed to... see there was scrambled eggs throughout the pasta ????. Let's make a story short. This is a typical local place with comfort food. They have a lot of Italian style food, with pizzas... which I haven't tried yet. A big plus are more than afordable prices. And they are commensurate with quality. I had friedzucchini (quite good) with homemade marinara sauce, pasta carbonara (decent, a little bit unsalted and on a dry side), onebottle of water and espresso, everything for $19. They should pay attention to overall appearence of outdoor facility (clutter,dirty floor, dry and dead plants). Service is ok. I will probably come again to try something new. Read more

Service, ambiance, price, portion size, taste and quality are all excellent! The $7.50 lasagna was enormous and included the... right amount of cheese and a tasty meat sauce. Overall, highly recommended for a reasonable dinner out in Astoria. Read more
A family run restaurant, the establishment has become a favorite of my family. The food is relatively inexpensive , delicious... and the portions are large, with 2 pasta dishes enough to feed 4-5 people. Some of our favorites are the linguine vongole andpenne ala vodka. Read more
Delicious simple food! We were visiting NYC for 5 days and ended coming here for lunch twice! Everything was fresh and flavorful... and the service was excellent both times. Highly recommend the chicken Parmesan ! This is definitely a hit in my book! Read more
I haven't ordered here in a while bc it's a little far for me and they don't deliver to my home. But it has always been the best... pizza and food for me in the past. Since 10 years ago. Sad to hear it burned down, if you guys need support I would help donatewhat I can to not only get back and running but maybe as an effort to come back even better! Read more
