I?d spotted their truck for some years now but had never given it a try. I finally did and I should have a long time ago! I got... the vegetarian bowl so I got to pick three veggies. Went with red lentil, chickpeas and greens over rice. So flavorful andfilling. The awaze sauce added a nice kick. Love their eco-friendly packaging. I?ll be going back for more! Read more

I had the amazing opportunity to try this very tasty food. The staff were as cool as the come. The food is halal and what amazed... the most is the crew were 100% from Africa (Egypt, Guinea and if course Ethiopia. The food is super flavourful, the portion isbig and most importantly they are eco-friendly. Unfortunately I got too excited and ate the food without taking a picture Read more

Serving such amazing food from a truck is impressive. Everything tasted amazing, although I?ll have to go again since they were... out of injera. The food was amazing, and absolutely worth the price! The staff running the truck was so kind, and I absolutelyrecommend this place to anyone looking for quick Ethiopian/Eritrean food. Their house sauce was fantastic, give it a try! Read more

My girlfriend who is habesha showed me makina story on YouTube and I thought the whole thing was great. When I came to n.y I... told my gf I will stop by her food truck to say hi and support the business. It was nothing like what was presented on YouTube. There's no food truck and it's a virtual kitchen where you scan qr code and order. I was kinda lost because I didn't see anyone.Long story short I made my order and tried Tibs for the 1st time. From my experience the food was flavorful I read otherscomments saying the food was bad maybe I don't know any better but I'd definitely come back I only have them 4 stars because Ididn't get to meet makina ( sorry if that's not her name not sure) and the food truck thing was just for YouTube Read more
