In an effort to amend the previous (and hasty) statement made about this pizzeria, I indicate the following: I wasn?t aware... that Louie?s was going on vacation for a week or so; hence why no one was answering the phone when I would call. My humblesuggestion to Louie?s Pizzeria would be to please make such information about being on vacation more than available on Google?ssearch engine; no different than your working hours. Instagram and other social media sites are simply not enough. I?mconfident that this method of clarification will all-the-more strengthen and fortify Louie?s much deserved popularity among thegreat people who frequent their professional, dedicated, and highly courteous establishment. They make a pretty good white pie. Margherita not too bad either.
I?ve been coming here over the course of about 5 years. I think the quality of the pizza has been slowly declining so I think... I?m going to find a new spot. Unfortunately the ingredients don?t taste too fresh, a little on the stale side? I?m not sure ifit?s because they have a great foot traffic and loyal customers that the effort isn?t being put in as much as before.. ***After COVID I think we are all a little extra careful with our hygiene and the last time I went there I noticed the man in thefront handling my change (cash) and touching the pizza slices right after with bare hands. This has to be my first 5 start location review. The whole neighborhood is infused with the business. The owner and staff... presented top notch customer service with NO New York attitude that you fear. I ordered a range of different items andeverything tasted good!!! Came here to try the ribeye steak. It was flavorful and cooked medium rare as requested! Potatoes and carrots and bread are a... nice bonus!! Best of all owner is super friendly and I can hear he cares for his neighbors and customers. Read more
The pizza is delicious. Real tomato sauce, real cheese, fresh herbs and spices, and top notch crust. Second the service was... amazing service, real people, healthy and super woke. The grandma pie is amazingly delicious! The right amount of sauce and the crust is just perfect! Louie's might just be one of my... favorite pizza places in Queens! I would stop here more often if I lived closer. Ordered for delivery and it arrived in lessthan one hour! Amazing delivery service! After 30 mins of receiving the pizza- Louie himself called to check up on us to see howthe pizza was since we lived a bit far from their deliver zone. Told him it arrived hot, fresh and delicious!
