Very easy to do takeout (from the same door the deliverypeople use) with super-friendly service. Amazing food, not "cheap" but... totally get-what-you-pay-for quality. It's been always excellent experience here. I've never tried dine in at Lims but I always order delivery here since pandemic. I... live one block away and food always deliver fast and fresh. Love everything I ordered. Food tasted always excellent with greatpackaging. Lim?s Kimbab, Shrimp tempura kimbab, Army strew, fried chicken with very delicious sauce, spicy rice soup, and stirfried noodles. Highly recommend everyone to try Lims. Can't wait to dine in!! Ordered delivery from here for lunch one day and everything was delicious. Delivery was very quick and the food packaging was... excellent (no spills with the 2 soups that came with the orders) and the plastic container for the spicy pork bibimbap is verylarge which makes it very easy to mix everything, just add the rice and spicy red paste, close the lid and shake it up! It alsocomes with a couple small sides, including a soup, which was great. The bulgogi kimbap was also amazing and I highly recommend.I?ll definitely be ordering from Lim?s again and I?m looking forward to stopping into the restaurant if I?m in the area. Read more
This place was a real disappointment. First the service. The waitress kept not understanding what we wanted dispute is reading... off exactly what is written on the menu. She kept getting the number and flavor of wings wrong and had to come back twice tocheck again. Even with that, she came back and said they may have already started to make the order wrong (thankfully it endedup being correct), but I don?t understand how if you mess up a customers order, how do you just say ?oh well? and still givethem the wrong order just because you already started to make it wrong. Also the flavor of the wings. It just wasn?t reallythere. The wings were nice and crispy but any flavor they had kinda disappeared after a second in your mouth. It?s a shame cuzthe first bite, the first second was good, it just didn?t last long in the mouth. The spicy wings helped keep the flavor a bitbut still had the same problem in my opinion. The flavor was a little more and lasted longer but still was not as flavorful assome other places. My friend thought it was ok though. The fries were really really good though. VERY crispy! The chicken wasn?t flavorful except for the skin if you choose a sauce. But the chicken itself had no flavor. Kind of dry as... well. Oddly enough the spicy drumsticks were juice and had some flavor. The seafood pancake I liked and the rolls were good. Butfor fried chicken, I was left wanting better. Read more
What a hidden gem in LIC, I?m so glad we have found our local fave Korean comfort kimbap (and maybe KFC too hehe) We were pretty... hungry so devoured every bit of food shown (except for the fries, they could?ve been more crispy, but it was way too soft forour liking). The spicy tuna kimbap was good (I would say medium-hot spice but I very much enjoyed it), and the boneless chickenwith Korea sweet&spicy sauce was a good choice bc (don?t be fooled by the exterior) the meat was SO TENDER AND JUICY on theinside of every single bite!! Some things that can possibly be improved is the bulgogi flavor inside kimbap, the meat wasalmost flavorless to my imo, I had to level it up and dip it in the tteoboki sauce or add fish cake on top to make it moreflavorful. The spicy rice cake was cooked just right chewiness and PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR and add crispy seaweed rolls ontoit, you will thank me later!
