I order spaghetti and meatballs, and garlic knots. Both items were superb. They also gave a free bread with my order. The... food was great when compared to the price of only $12.75 for the whole take-out order. The people there were nice and sincere. Would deffinetly go there and try their other items. Read more

Sicilian pizza is chewy with good cheese and sauce taste. Enjoyed the pepperoni. A little greasy for a thick pizza though.

Ordered a pizza that was half cheese, half mushroom/sausage. The cheese part of the pizza was amazing, the toppings half not so... much. I was really disappointed to see that they used canned mushrooms on their pizza (and tasted as such, super rubbery andchewy) and was honestly surprised given the amount of pizza places in NYC. First time I've ever come across that since movinghere 2 years ago. Read more

Used to live on Groton street back in 2001. Haven?t been back since moving away some 20 yrs ago. By chance I had the opportunity... to stop by New York, and this is the first place I wanted to visit. The pizza is amazing just like it was in my memory from twodecades ago. The store is renovated inside but the good pizza is as it always was! Loved every bite! Read more

Went for the classic New York slices and liked them enough to make it my toddlers first NYC slice! So now we have history so... have to come back again. Ray Romano eats here too based on the pic on the wall. He's Italian too, I think...so it must be legit, right? But enough about Ray, you wanna know about the pizza. The slices are good says my wife, a new Yorker of 30 years. That'sgood enough for me. But hold up, we also got the grandma slice on a whim. Whoa! I liked the regular slices. But I LOVED thegrandma slice! It was one of the best I have ever had. The owner was kind and friendly in the most new Yorker kinda way.Sounded like Jon Stewart but Italian. I dig it. The guys working the kitchen messed up on our order. Once they realized theirmistake, they fixed it by giving us the correct slices, letting us keep the wrong ones on the house. I'll be back.
