I went there for dinner with a friend last night, I must attest that this place exceeded my expectations on everything the... venue, food, aesthetic and the staff. The decor is great, with hues of bamboo and concrete materials. The food was good, a mix of Chinese and mostly Japanese... influence. The dessert could have been better, trying too hard to be fancy and not concentrating on bold flavors. The set mealis not too bad, gave a taste of a bit of everything. The place is big but not enough tables, bad use of space. They could fitmore tables, then they would have a lower wait time. The bubble tea was great. Great food with great service! I ordered a mango+orange smoothie but it was too sweet. I asked if they can make another one and... they are so nice to switch it for me. The atmosphere here is cozy. Delicious food. Friendly staff. Great dining atmosphere. Beautiful interior design. I like the fact that they have ramen combo... options so then I could choose a different broth in 1 bowl. What an amazing addition to the rows of restaurants on Bell Blvd. Upon entering, you are transported to a beautifully designed... social spot, with bamboos and thoughtful seating arrangements. The food has so much depth in flavor. When given the option, optfor the black garlic instead of white garlic - your taste buds will explode with an umami bomb. It's also convenient that withinthe restaurant is a bubble tea / juice bar. You can order your drinks before, during, or after you are seated. If you're alreadyseated, a robot brings it over to you. We tried pretty much Everything on the menu and I have to say they don?t disappoint. Tonkatsu ramen with black garlic is full... of flavor with the soup base was not super heavy which is perfect. they also have bubble tea and desserts on the menu. Willdefinitely return soon. Read more
A great addition to Bayside?s Bell Blvd! The service was excellent and the food was pretty good. Yesterday was their grand... opening. I called in a reservation for a party of 3 (2 adults and 1 toddler) and were sat immediately when we got there. For thethree of us we ordered combination B2 ($49.99)which included: Thai Iced Tea: (5/5)!! Lemonade: (5/5)!! Popcorn Chicken:(5/5)!! Kyushu Tonkotsu Shio Ramen: (4/5) Garlic flavor was really strong Sapporo Miso Ramen: (4/5) We ordered ?not spicy? butstill was spicy to taste. So if you can't tolerate the spice then I wouldn't recommend. Japanese Cherry Blossom Jelly:(4/5) Matcha Pudding w/ Red Bean: (4/5) Overall we had a great experience. Good service and great foods. Their food quality are better than the Flushing branch. It came out to be a total of ~$250 for... 7ppl, which is about $30 each. Our order consisted of about 5 appetizers and 6 entrees (some of which we ordered as a combo, soit even came with additional drinks + desserts)! Most of us ordered ramen, and it was very filling, however it could have camewith more soup. The Amazing Lemonade is one of the drinks offered as part of the meal combo (the other is Thai Tea), and it wassurprisingly good! It has lemonade with a hint of cucumber, making it not too sweet.
