Josefina's is home to my favorite panza negra tacos. I've had all of their tacos. My wife likes their pollo and al pastor tacos.... Their lengua and panza blanco tacos are very good, but I always have their panza negra tacos. There are only a few places in NYCthat offer panza negra tacos, so I always come here when I visit NYC. Surprisingly really good authentic Mexican food in the hood. So glad, we went inside to check out. Tacos, beef soup and... quesadillas were really good! The owner and cook were also very nice. Can't believe we never checked this taco joint before! Read more

First time customer, and definitely not the last time. Chicken burrito was excellent, not just full of rice like some places.... Tacos very good as well, and quite larger than we're used to. Think we just found our new favorite Mexican place. Read more

I don't know how is the service there, I haven't got the chance to eat in the restaurant, but I always order for delivery, they... have very good service for delivery, they don't take so long like other Mexican restaurants. Cemitas are great, tasty, Ipersonally recommend the chicken milanese cemita (cemita is a big fat sandwich like twice the size of a big mac burger fromMacdonald to give you and idea usually inside is avocado, Oaxaca cheese, beans, chipotle, tomato, chipotle pepper some placesput papalo which is a herb similar as spinach, the meat of your choice and the most important part the bun is covered withsesame seeds). I have tried the chilaquiles with a fried egg over medium on top, you can add meat of your choice like chicken if you want to, also very good just be aware of the spiciness, I believe most of the dishes can be done without it, just makesure you ask. Tacos also really good, they usually put guacamole on them, for me I don't like guacamole on my tacos, but I askedthem not to add it, for me I think the best way to eat tacos is only with fresh cilantro and onion. They don't add spicy on someof the tacos usually they send the sauce on the side, they send the green and red sauce usually the red sauce is the spiciestone. Read more

This place is not your typical restaurant. I was a bit confused at first as I didn't know the restaurant was at the back of the... deli. It appears to be a family owned store and restaurant combined. The people are super friendly and the food was amazing! Thefruit drinks were so refreshing! The prices are pretty decent also. Definitely worth every buck! Read more

The steak didn’t have much flavor and was too fatty for my liking, grilled chicken was good; nothing special. Chorizo was... delicious! It wasn’t oily at all and had a nice kick to it. Read more
