Very good coverage of cheese and sauce, a little light on the sauce part though. A bit high at $3.50, should be in the 3 to... 3.25 range. Well cooked, good flavor, but would prefer more Italian style seasoning. Thin, chewy crust with good flavor. Ratingthis one at 90. Read more
Far and away one of the best pizzerias in NYC. Fantastic slices, top notch eggplant parm hero, delicious chicken francese?... always consistent and never has disappointed in the 40+ years I?ve been going there. Good thicker chewy dough pizza. Tried Hawaiian, a mushroom pie, and a cheese Sicilian. Sicilian is less flsvoro sauce, but... pillowy and food cheese. All around good cheeses. Read more
I grew up eating John's Pizza and although it's changed hands several times, the current owners have done a good job keeping up... the legacy. Great NYC thin crust pizza the way it's supposed to taste, crunch, and chew. Great reliable neighborhood joint, Ihope to be back! Read more
Clean take out and eat in pizza restaurant. Food is tasty, reasonable prices and courteous owners/ employees. Parking is tough... at times is one negative. I usually get the grilled chicken salad or chicken parm. hero. Read more
Okay- I'm from NYC, so I know good pizza when I eat it. I haven't eaten pizza in well over a year and I wanted to get some. I am... pretty new to this area (only been here 8 months) and I didn't know of any good pizza spots, but I just chose this one due tothe good reviews. I am in love with their pizza! It is so flavorful, well-done (if you like it that way), and just perfect!Their wings are awesome too! I just wish the slices were a little thicker but not an issue whatsoever. ???? Read more
