My wife and I met this pizzeria here 38 years when we moved here in Astoria. They have had three owners. The latest worked there... as a pizza maker. For a corner eatery with a Greek-Spanish name, Gyro Uno serves up a good slice of pizza. My veggie slice was fresh, savory,... tasty, with a tender crust crispy on the bottom and slightly thicker than a traditional NYC slice.
