Reviews for Go Nonna in Queens, NY
Nice restaurant in Long Island City. Small home cooking Argentine and Mexican kitchen with plenty of seating area outside.... Amazing very friendly and attentive staff. Food is great just like home. It?s get very busy at night I guess that?s a goodthing. We got tiramisu for dessert that was great. Hopefully we come back tomorrow try more great food. Read more
I've never seen an Italian-Argentinian fusion restaurant before, so I'm glad Go Nonna is here!!!! It blends two of my favorite... cuisines in one place and the waitstaff were fantastic. The food was TOP-NOTCH! I had the carbonara and it was the best one I'veever had. Definitely recommend!!!!!! Read more
5 star cultural experience. Food, ambience and service all on point. Their chef must be from Naples or something. I usually... don?t write more than 3 sentences on reviews but they deserve it Read more
Decent food but service could be improved. The manager was rigid with her ?rules? : 2 people cannot take the 4 people table... (when restaurant was empty), a chair cannot be borrowed to put our bags on, and she got irritated that the chair wasn?t in theright place? Perhaps This could he handled better with a friendlier smile rather irritation? The restaurant remained fairlyempty after couple of hours while we were there so more accommodations could have been made since customers do come first ifrequest is within reason?? With that said, food was not too bad..hence the 4 star :-) please ask the manager to put afriendlier smile? ;-) Read more
Love this place each time we go! I?ve tried almost everything on the menu and will have to say that the short rib ragu will... always be my favorite. The gnocchi was good but my boyfriend said it was a bit expensive for the quality. Would recommend thisas a date spot but make sure you make reservations prior and ask for a specific table as some tables are less desirable for adate! Read more
We got the shrimp linguine and the beef short rib pappardelle. The shrimp linguine was definitely the better of the two. The... short rib felt just a little too heavy but it was a good portion size and very filling. Read more
Appetizers were good: veal meatballs had a good polento to accompany them, service was good. Restaurant was a little cold due to... the window being so close. We weren?t aware the zucchini side was fried, so it was a little redundant since we ordered thefritto misto which already had fried zucchini. I was underwhelmed by my entree which was a pasta dish with lima beans, mushroomsand asparagus. I felt like there was no flavor. Others liked their veal and short rib pasta though!! Read more
This place is solid. Never been disappointed every time I?ve gone. My go to is the Bavette Al Limone con Gamberi E Zucchine... Liguria, absolutely delicious. Don?t forget the dessert, yummy options! Staff is also so friendly. The price is fairly decent, unlike many places overly inflating themselves and passing to customers the cost of inflation. I cannot stress enough howimportant the bathroom is in a place you dine in and they had a nice clean one! ???? Read more
