This was my first time trying Diner Bar after seeing all the great reviews. The fruity pebbles french toast is what actually... brought me here and honestly it was really good. The reason I didn’t give it a full 5 stars though was because I honestlyfelt like the menu was very limited. Compared to many diners, they didn’t have much options. I ended up just getting a ceasarsalad because I couldn’t decide on anything else. Prices are also pretty high especially considering the plate size. Diner on Queens Blvd in Rego Park. Very nice spacious place also plenty of seating area outside. It’s get very busy for brunch... and I don’t know why servers have to do drinks as well they definitely should have bartender working for busy time in therestaurant. Soft shell crab Benedict was not as good as I was expecting. Home fries was burned with no flavor and hollandaisesauce was very blend and very weird texture. Lovely place to have Breakfast/brunch stopped in after my doctor's appointment and treated my self to a hearty Breakfast and... good coffee. This place is clean spacious and comfortable with good friendly service. Read more
First time here, it was ok. Loved the home fries and blend of different potatoes used. Turkey bacon was cooked nicely, the steak... wasn’t. We shared the strawberry shake, it was ok. The staff was fast and always kept an eye out for refills and if we neededanything. Thank you. Read more
Nice place for brunch! Pretty big portions, fresh ingredients and fast service. More expensive than a regular diner but worth... it. Lunch bowl is my favorite so far. But coffee wasn't good for my taste. Probably different beans. Read more
Incredible place! I just moved in the area and literally had the best experience I ever could’ve imagined. The food was... fabulous and it had such a beautiful atmosphere.The waiter Alex and supervisor Rosa were exceptional. But most importantly theywere very attentive and genuinely pleasant. Nice place!! The wait was about 5 mins on a Sunday around 11am. Didn't wait long for a waiter and he was very attentive to our... needs. Food came out looking good, mine was a little cold but still tasty. We had: 1st order- Pancakes(4) with strawberries/blueberries, side of crispy bacon and 2 fried eggs with a drink. They didn't have a meal with pancakes, eggs and bacon had to ordereverything separately. 2nd order- Waffles with fried breaded chicken breast and a smoothie. Total bill $73 for 2 people. Priceybut worth it, will be back. Stay away from the lemonade, it's lemon WATER. Read more
