This was my first time trying Diner Bar after seeing all the great reviews. The fruity pebbles french toast is what actually... brought me here and honestly it was really good. The reason I didn’t give it a full 5 stars though was because I honestlyfelt like the menu was very limited. Compared to many diners, they didn’t have much options. I ended up just getting a ceasarsalad because I couldn’t decide on anything else. Prices are also pretty high especially considering the plate size. Diner on Queens Blvd in Rego Park. Very nice spacious place also plenty of seating area outside. It’s get very busy for brunch... and I don’t know why servers have to do drinks as well they definitely should have bartender working for busy time in therestaurant. Soft shell crab Benedict was not as good as I was expecting. Home fries was burned with no flavor and hollandaisesauce was very blend and very weird texture. Nice place!! The wait was about 5 mins on a Sunday around 11am. Didn't wait long for a waiter and he was very attentive to our... needs. Food came out looking good, mine was a little cold but still tasty. We had: 1st order- Pancakes(4) with strawberries/blueberries, side of crispy bacon and 2 fried eggs with a drink. They didn't have a meal with pancakes, eggs and bacon had to ordereverything separately. 2nd order- Waffles with fried breaded chicken breast and a smoothie. Total bill $73 for 2 people.
