This was my 1st time visiting this place with my family. This is the worst restaurant with bad atmosphere and very low quality... food. The table was dirty with dust, we had to ask the guy to clean for us. The plates, forks, and spoons they gave us werecover with dust we cleaned all by ourselves. We ordered couple of items and non of them were good at all. Read more
We went to Dhaka Garden twice so far. The first time around we got the kachi biryani because the employee told us the chicken... biryani wasn?t good that day. The kachi biryani costs more than the chicken biryani but we did not think anything of it as webelieved he was trying to enhance our experience. We also got chicken tikka and a mango lassi. The food was good and we decidedto return a second time with our dad. This time the employee said the chicken biryani is good so we got that as well as chickentikka, fish, and mixed vegetable fried rice. The ?salad? that came with it was basically gross lettuce, dried up lime slices, and sliced onion. I?m not sure if the lettuce was even washed or not but it definitely wasn?t fresh and looked unappetizing. Theutensils were not washed properly either. I was starting to wonder if I should have even come here considering theaforementioned. The biryani had hard clumps of rice, which I?m assuming may have been from the bottom of the pot. It was reallyhot inside too. They just had a standing fan running which was not enough to cool the store down. The employees (I?m not sure ifthey are the owners but one woman with the henna hair and one man) are very pushy, so perhaps they own the place. They arealways asking if we would like lassi or this or that or the other. It?s not like it?s on the house to make up for the fact thatthey don?t have an item in stock. Instead, they just keep pushing hoping you?ll purchase more and more. They also stand right byyour table and watch you as you eat, which is super awkward and annoying. We dined in and also took an order to go. When it wastime to pay, I saw that there was an extra 15% charge which I didn?t experience the first time I visited. Usually, restaurantswill charge a gratuity fee if you come in a group of 5+. We were only 3 people. Furthermore, there was no sign posted nor wasthe menu edited to reflect their new haphazard policy. I asked her when they started charging an extr Read more
Recently tried the Kacchi which was good but sadly the proportion of rice and meat is completely bonkers. You pay almost $20... bucks a plate and you get 2 pieces of small sized meat with bones rest they fill it out with rice. Same goes for tehari and hajibiryani. Staffs are nice though but the owner definitely cheaping out I believe. Last time ordering from this place. Read more
