This place is old school. Its been around since i was in middle school across the street. This is my go-to neighborhood Italian deli that never disappoints. Their cold cut s are top quality. I always get some... prosciutto when I'm there, along with their string bean and potato salad, some fresh bread and some of their Italian groceryitems. Service is exceptionally friendly, The counter individuals know people by name, that is so rare in this day and age.Prices are extremely reasonable especially for the quality of the products you're getting. The staff is kind hearted. The sandwiches are memorable and unique with homemade ingredients. They have Italian import and fresh... frozen ravioli and premade dinners. Awesome experience! I needed an assorted sandwich/wrap platter for a funeral the following day - and was pressed for time. I... found D&F Deli on-line, called and placed an order. What a great experience! The owner Gary was super pleasant and helpful -and knew exactly what I needed. My platter was beautiful - a lovely assortment of turkey, ham, roast beef etc. The wraps wereindividually wrapped (perfect for covid-times) and the display was perfect. As for the taste? Wonderful! Excellent deli with amazing sandwiches! The fresh mozzarella they make is so good. They have outstanding sauce that they make as... well. The owner (or person making my sandwich) made sure to tell me that they followed the request and didn?t add extra oil, it would... just be from the sun dried tomatoes and I truly appreciate it. Macaroni salad was just macaroni and mayo, super cheap and supersimple. Will be going back to pick up passata sauce whenever I make my bolognese! Love the store. Read more
