We arrived here Friday night 12:00 AM and waited for 15mins before they refused to serve us. It shows on the counter that they... are open til 1 AM. The Chinese girl behind the counter told us there was only some black tea left and they were short ofingredients at the moment. I told them we were thirsty and asked for whatever they could make. Then another male employee cameand told us they are closed. I insisted to ask if it is possible to get some drink cuz we waited for so long. He went ?get outtahere, do you want me to call the cops?!? Usually my favorite bubble tea spot because it's tasty and they are always so nice. But today I asked for a bag and it's... the first time on all the years I have going there that the cashier just puts the bag there and doesn't even pass me thedrinks. My favorite drink to order here is the Bubble Gaga. It's passion fruit green tea with tapioca bubbles and coconut jelly. The... line to order wasn't too long of a wait but because there is no clear queue, customers end up crowding the busy sidewalk whichcauses an inconvenience to people passing by. Overall, ordering was smooth and quick and my drink came out fairly quick as well.There are no tables and chairs, it is more of a grab-and-go type of place, hence the reason why it is small and on the corner. I know re-making a customers drink is annoying because I use to work at a fast food place as well but as an employee you still... have to keep a pleasant attitude. I apologized a couple of times and they were still giving me looks. I am a regular customerhere as well but I will look into a new drink place. And I know on the website it says that they are willing to remakedrinks depending on their guest's satisfaction. The Brown Sugar pearl milk tea was amazing. The tea and milk flavors were fresh and prominent. When the cup was ready, it was... warm, because the brown sugar was heated up and dripped on to the inside. This I believe added to the flavor profile. One of my favorite Bubble Tea places! [+] Prices are really good [+] Bubble Tea tastes really good [+] Location is really good... (conveniently located close to Subway station) [+] selection is really good (so much to chose from) [+/-] there is nearly alwaysa line [-] no plant-based milk alternatives [-] staff is not always the fastest I can strongly recommend this place IF you arenot in a rush. I have not found the staff unfriendly (like mentioned in some other reviews), but have been asked to come back topick up my Tiger Milk Tea twice already (after standing in line for approx. 10 mins each time)... so, yeah, bring patience. Theyseem to have an app, which makes ordering ahead possible (see pictures), so maybe that is an option IG you are in a rush butstill want Bubble Tea :) There are vegan options, but not for milk teas, as this place does not offer plant-based milkalternatives.
