We were very happy with the food at Bia. We got the lollipop wing appetizer to start and i must say that the flavor was amazing... and the chicken was nice and crispy on the outside and yet tender and moist on the inside. I recommend trying it as anappetizer! The ginger flavor pops and also has a nice little kick to it which we loved. We also ordered the beef pho and Bo LucLac. The Bo Luc Lac came out prefect in my opinion. I've had Bo Luc Lac at many different places and they usually don't get theflavor right and the meat is too chewy and overcooked but at BIA the flavor was on point and the meat wasn't overcooked. The Phowas also delicious. In my honest opinion the pho was slightly above average but yet still very good and enjoyable. One thing Ifeel is important to add is that we came in 10 minutes before they close and the staff didn't make us feel rushed and theydidn't come off as bothered that we came in late like some other places do. Overall great experience, great food and friendlystaff. I look forward to eating here again soon! Read more

Only second best to the most famous Vietnamese restaurant in The Bronx; so if you cannot travel to The Bronx, then come to Bia... and enjoy the Pho soup, better then all the other restaurants in the area. Read more

This place is a hit or miss, I've seen a few of their locations around but only recently ordered a few times from their New Hyde... Park location. The vermicelli noodle salad is my current recommendation from this restaurant, although every single time I'veordered this dish (x3), the taste is never the same, as if it's a different person cooking it each time but trying to follow thesame template....regarding the most popular item, phò, their pho broth is kind of weak and it doesn't come with much meat, Iwouldn't order this again. The price point is reasonable though, so I probably would venture back to try other dishes. I can'tattest to authenticity but it's not bad Read more

Has potential. - Hip interior - inconsistent food. Tofu and chicken vermicelli flavorful sauce the first time. Bland the second... time - pho decent, needs a bit more flavor/kick. It?s missing something. 6/10 - I ordered the pho with the ribs ($15 with tax)for pick up to go. Realized when I got home to eat that there?s no ribs. They asked me if I wanted to drive all the back to pickit up. No way lol why should I drive there and back for their mistake? I had to call twice to make sure they were actuallycoming. (First time they said they?ll call me back but never did) in the second call they also asked if I was sure the (giant)ribs weren?t in the bag. After some back and forth and 2 calls later, They did deliver the ribs. I hungrily waited half an houras I watch my wife eat as they drove over lol. Wished they offered a free dessert or drink as a courtesy for the inconvenience(phone calls, not calling me back and waiting). At least they came and correctly the wrong. Decent place still with nice decor, just needs some work on consistency of the food and customer service. Read more

This place has not been open for too long, they have a nice nitch in the neighborhood with Vietnamese cuisine. They have a nice... assortment of soups, sandwiches and hot meals that are really flavorful. They can also adjust to different levels of spicy heatas well. The place is somber but not dark. You can see silhouettes from the outside. If you are driving, it will be easy to missthis place. They just added a happy hour from 4 to 8pm. The service is extremely friendly and during off hours, Joe tries tohone his skills at mixology drinks. I had a nice flavorful Manhattan and my guest had a spicy cucumber flavored. They can adjustthe heat. I ordered the chicken curry noodle Pho (Cari Ga) and it was very good. It also has a good price point at $11.50.My friend got the chicken noodle and theybhave a bowl of extra bean curd and jalepeno slices. They constantly check in to makesure you are enjoying your meal. Whether its a cold winter day or a hot summer, you can be sure they have something for yourappetite and also craft beers to quench your thirst as well Read more

While eating lunch across the street, we notice BIA and decided to give it a try for dinner. We loved it so much, we came back... for lunch the next day! Trendy decor/atmosphere, and friendly services. Very laid back (don't be in a rush) and low prices forgreat Vietnamese food. Pho was great, as were the shrimp spring rolls. Bahn mi pork was FANTASTIC! Also tried the eggplantcoconut curry soup. Slightly spicy but great. They have drink specials 4-7. (We came after 7). Tried the Acai Lemonade - LOVEDit and Mexican Mule - really good. Will definitely be one of our regular places! Read more
