Very disorganized, difficult to see the flavors, and poor customer service. People were bending over and squinting to see the... flavor descriptions. The glass was foggy so you couldn?t see many of the flavors. My husband ordered a sundae but wasn?t given achance to choose the flavors, and the server went ahead and made it without asking. Then the server put the sundae on thecountertop and said there was no more whipped cream. My husband said he didn?t want it without whipped cream and asked for areplacement item, and the server said no, there?s nothing we can do. The flavors we ordered were good (mango, chocolate/ peanutbutter, and oatmeal)- so I added 1 star for that. Read more
This is the cornerstone staple of ice cream with a lot of unique flavors. The best part are the creative designs for the flavor... names. We ordered the cake batter flavor and oatmeal lace. Unfortunately the cake better flavor didn?t really taste like cakebatter but maybe next time it will. There are so many other flavors, it is definitely worth a shot. The vanilla ice cream with blackout cake and choc pudding was outstanding! Took first bite while crossing the road and stopped... short in wonder and awe, then an oncoming bus honked his horn and got me going again. I like how each borough gets its ownflavor? here in Greek Astoria, we get one with baklava from a local Greek patisserie ?????????? Awesome ice cream shop, they have plenty of funny flavors, mostly remakes of regular ones. We tried their mango sorbet and it is... one of the best I ever had. From the color of it you can tell there is not much water in but mostly mango puree and it isamazing. Their strawberry ice cream is simple and also great, but if you like fruits go for the mango ! Riddle me this. My wife ordered a milkshake and asked for some toppings mixed in. These are the same toppings they put on... sundaes and cones. But they refused to put them in the milkshake. I ask why and they only said that's the policy. Can someoneplease explain this to me? Are the laws of physics different in ample hills? Do they have a special milkshake machine that willhave its calibration affected by a few m&Ms and sprinkles? It literally makes no sense. To make matters worse, they had such anattitude about it, as if we were crazy for asking. I did like my ice cream though. Could have been a five if they would onlypour some toppings in a cup.
