The setting is not fancy but it's casual and laid back. It was quite hot inside the bar/lounge so we decided to sit on the patio... to catch the cool breeze. The food however was great. It's what this restaurant is known for. Yes almost everything on the menuwas 100% gluten free and lactose free. We couldn't believe we were eating real bread and cheese that was safe for people withintolerances and allergies. We almost wanted to order everything on the menu. Read more
Definitely the best gluten free restataurant in QC, with a variety of options and an interesting selection at the bar as well!
We decided to try Veravin mainly because the gluten free menu... Justin who took care of us was very friendly and welcome...food... was good (we tried beef and salmon burgers) but nothing extraordinary (we are difficult gourmets though). The place is clean andCovid19 protocol was respected. Only 3 stars because the sitting is not very comfortable: table are a little too low and theplace where we were sitting was next to a black steel structure supported by rags... not the best landscape let's say. Edit: I have visited the restaurant since the revamp and it was great. The staff was so friendly and the food was out of this... world. The menu is 100% gluten free. I was able to eat so many different things that I normally can?t eat because it?s full ofgluten. If you are in Quebec I strongly recommend this gem. Their menu is 98% gluten free which is amazing since I have celiacsdiseases and did not have to worry of getting contaminated and sick. The service was very slow but the waitress was alone andthat was not her fault. She did the best she could and was very nice and courteous. I had not had calamari in so long and Ihave to say they tasted delicious. It was so good that my bestfriend and I asked for a second appetizer of calamari since theportion was pretty small. However they had no more left and I was so disappointed because I am from Montreal and I rarely havethe chance to eat this. This just gave me more room for desert. Me and my husband stumbled on this place by a chance , and we were soo lucky that we did !! The food was absolutely delicious !!... The service was superb ???????? . All the dishes from appetizer to the main were delightful. I definitely recommend this place . Read more
