Great food. Iffy waitress, excellent music, just a little too loud.

Can't tell you about the food or drink as we felt so ignored and unwelcomed that we ended up leaving without even ordering. We... got a table and some dirty menus and that was..errr.. it. Wanting to order we looked around and raised our hand (it was noisycoz it's a bar, we get it) but the staff decided they couldn't see us even though the surrounding tables of customers could. Iknow invisibility is a desired super power but not when I want food. - at no point, did anyone come and ask if we wanted toorder or give us water - when we tried to order, they would make eye contact and then LOOK AWAY - looking around, every tablehad water and drinks on them except us, even the people who came in after us - maybe it was coz we didn't speak French orbecause we were the only non white people in there, but no way am I paying for this kind of treatment For our first night inQuebec, this was horrific and set a negative tone for the evening. Cosy and Rustic setting with very attentive bar staff, in fact all staff are engaging and nothing is too much. Food is... absolutely excellent with a great variety for the size of venue. Really fantastic, would 100% recommend. Vibing all night long! Read more

Everything started great, until the waitress came and told us our table was reserved for 20:30. Seriously? They literally kicked... us out. How can you tell your customers they cannot have one more drink because the table is booked? I have never experiencedsomething like this before. Shame on you jack saloon. Read more

I liked the place. Taverns and Saloons always have my interest when I'm looking for a place to eat in a new area. Arrivng... before "happy hour" and it was quiet and warm, but soon the people began to flood in. The atmosphere was nice, however, as soonas the restaurant filled, my friend and I felt claustrophobic because the table a were so close together. We felt we had noconversational privacy and the waitress could barely stand between tables when taking orders from the people on either side ofus. Eveything on the menu looked great, pricey though. Both my friend and I were dissaponted in our dishes, even though theywere tasty. My salmon was served cold which ruined the meal for me. I had no forewarning that my smoked salmon steak would beserved as cold as morning Lox. My friend ordered the half chicken. When it arrived it was more like a half a ginny hen and hefelt as though it was more of a salty apatizer than an entree. Nice looking venue, but we're looking forward to trying anotherplace in the area for our next meal. Read more

Nice place to hangout for some meat/burger if you like a Saloon style of place. Couple of good cocktails. Small variety of... choices in food but GOOD taste. Just a bit high on the quality/price but very well placed near the main action street ofQuebec. Read more
