Reviews for Bistro Le Sam in Québec, QC
Hands-down, one of the best dining experiences in Quebec City. We visited here for a late lunch and had a wonderful experience.... The food was absolutely incredible, everything was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious. The drinks were also amazing, asyou can see by the many photos in this review. You can tell that all of them are made with care. The wait staff were very kind, and had great recommendations as to what we should eat. They were attentive, but also left us a great deal of space to enjoy theview. I would highly recommend booking a reservation a few days in advance, as popular times are often booked full. If you werelooking for an upscale dining experience, you have to go to Le Sam. Read more
This location was the best dine in experience i have ever experienced. The quality of food I had along with the service were... impressive. The views, the appetizers, the main dish and dessert were amazing. The atmosphere and views this location had wasbreathtaking. I would definitely come back again. The food were delicious because of the way it was cooked. The meat were tenderand juicy. Honestly, all the dishes on their menu are worth trying so I can't say what to order but I can tell you the steak wasgreat option. Their none alcoholic drinks were also tasty. The experience overall are recommended but be sure to make areservation before your visit. Read more
Incredibly delicious food all around for the especially the duck drumsticks. Also excellent was the seafood casserole, fish and... chips, lobster cakes. The only disappointment was actually the French onion soup which was bland. Great cocktails from Bar 1608to complement the food and menu as well. We were surprised as we were thinking it would just be overpriced hotel food. Theambiance was beautiful. Ask for the seats with a view of possible bit the seats inside are beautiful as well due to the niceinterior design. Read more
Superb ambiance! View from the water is so serene and beautiful. Server is very helpful. Food no doubt is very good and portion... size is decent for the price you're paying for. I ordered lobster ravioli if you love seafood with cream this is for you. It's a heavy meal so don't order more, as for the lamb it's not enough for my husband but he said the meat is very tender, cod fishwith fries and salad my in laws said tasted like haddock not cod. But overall our dinner was good paired with white wine. Fourpax we paid 300+ dollars Read more
I went here with my friend for dinner to celebrate a special occasion. It is a perfect place to go to when you are feeling fancy... or celebrating something. We decided to go on a night with winter storm but the food and the experience made going out in thestorm worth it. Parking here is a little expensive so took a cab and it was still cheaper. Food here was amazing. We triedFrench onion soup, seafood casserole and creme brulee. I loved all our courses and creme brulee was one of the best ones I havetried so far. Our server was really hospitable and helped us in picking our course. Ambience also made the whole experienceperfect. I would definitely go back here whenever I am in Quebec city. Read more

We booked about two weeks ahead for. 11:30 which is the first seating and ended up with the best seat in the house. Strongly... recommend 11:30 for this reason. The service was exceptional. The Caesar salad and Quinoa Bowl great. We also got a poached pearand upside down pineapple dessert. The pear was out of this world but the upside down cake was dry. Overall was a fun way to seethis famous hotel. Quite pricey for the food you get. It?s the same view as you get from the boardwalk below. Read more
