This little gem is right in the middle of everything, and I mean EVERYTHING. It's across the yard from the infamous Fairmont Le... Chateau Frontenac. It's close to shops and restaurants. My room is surprisingly quiet despite all the activitiesdownstairs. The hotel is about 10-minute taxi ride from the train station. You can walk from there if you don't mind the hills.The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is nice, clean, and bright. My room has a view of fire escape and therestaurant across the way but I don't mind. If I want a view I just go outside (you shouldn't fixate on your hotel views anywayif you can just go out and see the city) The hotel has no elevator so you'll have to haul your luggage upstairs yourself,personally I don't mind. If you have mobility challenges you might need to reconsider. The wifi is fast, the water pressure isgreat, the black out curtains are helpful. What more can you ask for? I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in QuebecCity. Read more

This is a nice place to stay when visiting historic Quebec City. Located across Place D'Armes from the Hotel Frontenac, next... door to a Tourist Information office and steps to the Funicular to the Lower Town it is a great location. The rooms are modernand clean, the staff friendly and helpful. Only advice is there is no elevator and there are lots of stairs in this hotel. Read more

Our room had a great view of chateau Frontenac. It was a very neat well kept room but on the rather small side. Area is great if... you want to walk on the board walk, check out Rue st Jean (the main strip in old Quebec) or enjoy a true québécois experience. Read more

Great location. Right across from Chateau Frontenac and next to a tourist information location. All the shops and restaurants... are near you. It's also located above a restaurant/bar. Can be loud at night because of the restaurant but that didn't botherus. All the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Room was very small but nice. Would definitely recommend. Read more
