This was our first time visiting this Diner style restaurant. The place was clean and inviting. The food was good and the... service acceptable. They were short staffed, as most restaurants are these days. Our waitress was pleasant and fairly attentive.The portions were on the larger side. I had their roast Turkey special. I was surprised to find a waffle, made of stuffingunder the Turkey. I thought it was a great addition to my meal and it was very tasty. The salad bar was very good and wasfresh. This little diner is friendly. I had the special which was a breaded haddock sandwich. It was a frozen pre breaded piece of... fish? a little disappointing, but the breading was light, so there was at least some fish in there. The environment is laidback, a little old and run down but clean. Simple decor of country type pictures. The counter was obviously not updated for manyyears. I will never return. This was the worst breakfast experience I have ever had. The food took almost 50 minutes to come out. A... simple breakfast for 2 people and the restaurant was not at all busy. Ordered poached eggs and got steamed eggs with runnywhites and scrapple that was not browned at all. No apologies or compensation for the wait or terrible food. Avoid this place. Read more
