The food is good, and atmosphere is nice. The portion sizes are ridiculously small. Like I have never seen. One apple would feed... 25 -30 people with these portion sizes. After we spend hundreds for two of us ($170 WithOUT the wine for what u see below. Wehad to eat when we got home. U can see in the photo (left) is the main course and the (right) was the appie, I missed the desertphoto but u get the idea. I thought the main course was an appie then they brought desert, I was in shock. Should have put adime in there for size. The food was good but we were hungry which is why we went out for dinner. I can not recommend if u rlooking for a meal or are hungry if u want very expensive light snacks this is ur place. Read more
An absolutely lovely belated birthday dinner. The staff was able to accommodate our request to move our reservation for dinner... earlier in the evening. We had the 6-course tasting menu and were not disappointed. Most of the items were featured on theregular menu, but our two favourite dishes were not! A great flow and the service was fantastic. Thanks for a great meal! Read more
Exquisite. This kiwi chef has nailed it. We enjoyed the six course degustation. Every dish, made from their roof grown verges,... and seafood, was impeccable. The service gentle and engaged. The ambience calm, zen-like. The wine list varies and interesting. This kiwi was duly impressed. Read more

Wonderful meal here last week, probably the best meal out we've ever had. We made a reservation, taking our cue from other... reviews - good call, as it's a small space. We chose the chef's tasting menu, listing our (complicated) dietary restrictions, all of which were accommodated (itself a feat!) within a beautifully presented six-course journey for the senses. We weredelighted with the variety, the rich and complex flavors and textures, the artful presentation and the attentive yet spaciousservice, within an unpretentious setting which somehow managed to be elegant while casual and simple. Each course was small andthe cumulative effect a bounty: we were stuffed right up. An incredible experience, with dishes that inspired and satisfied onall levels. We will come again, with anticipation. Read more
