I can't comment on the rooms as we were there for dinner only, but I can say that the meal and the entire experience of dining... there was exceptional. There were four of us and we were treated to some of the best food and service anyone could ask for. Ihad a pasta dish and my husband had the lamb. Both were beyond delicious. The service was just right. We didn't feel rushed butwe didn't have to wait for anything. Pricing was appropriate. We now consider the Crown Mansion our go-to place for specialoccasion dining! Pros: Beautiful grounds, historic building, clean, unique setting. Cons: Unreliable plumbing, noise, hands-off staff. It's a... beautiful place to stay and it's a conversation piece when talking about your vacation. Unfortunately, for me, a loudmini-fridge, strange electrical arcing coming from an outlet device, a dripping shower head, and a bizarre lack of cold waterfrom the tub faucet meant I didn't enjoy the time I spent in my room nearly as much as I'll enjoy talking about the location andthe pictures. The advertisement for a real estate development in the midst of a packet on the building's history wasparticularly funny but not in the way that left me happy. Read more

We stayed at the Crown Mansion on Aug 2, 2021. The room (The Rita Hayworth) was beautiful and very clean. We had a nice view of... the ocean (and a roof top) and golf course. The bed was really comfortable and the location was great. We got a nice little tourof the mansion and heard a bit of the history, which was lovely. Our only complaint was that the room was noisy in terms ofajacent rooms - we could hear the bathroom plumbing very loudly. We were just thankful that it wasn?t heard often. The restaurant was closed while we were there, but we loved our stay. Very clean, cozy room furnished to remind us of its... historical past-when movie stars and royalty came here to relax. King size bed and a wonderful modern version of the old bathtubs. Very friendly and helpful staff that made us feel welcome. This is a true historical jewel. Just incredible. Amazing service and perfectly prepared menu items with beautiful presentation. Warm gorgeous atmosphere with... a welcome intimate setting. The head chef and kitchen team are an asset to this beautiful setting. Very talented cooks, whoquite obviously love what they do here. The Sapphire Room dining room recently opened and the food is absolutely amazing. Haven't had an experience like this since... moving to QB 2 years ago. We had 3 different appetizers and 2 mains and all was thoroughly delightful. Service was friendly andattentive without being distracting. The new head chef had put together a beautiful menu that's not too small and not too bigwith a great diverse selection of dishes to choose from. Beautiful building, big beautiful and comfortable rooms. Spotless. The bathroom was so nicely decorated with a nice deep bath... tub. We came late but they called us before to let us know what to do if nobody was at the front desk. A manager met us at thedoor when we arrived and was so kind and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay at the Crown Mansion. The room was very nice - comfortable and quite charming. The staff was great -... especially the lady who checked us in, who was polite, funny, and helpful. The history of the building was also quiteinteresting. The included breakfast was good, with the only spot of confusion being how to obtain refills on items. All in all,we had a great first visit, and look forward to coming back to stay again! Read more
